Sampdoria are the guests at Allianz Stadium on Sunday for the Serie A meeting with home team Juventus.
Juventus were made to wait for what should still be a ninth consecutive Serie A title as Seko Fofana’s wonder goal in stoppage time condemned them to a 2-1 defeat at Udinese, who came from behind to claim a win that moves them a huge step closer to safety. A huge mistake for a perfect campaign from Juventus, and a great success of Udinese who is now out of any danger of the bottom 3 spots. With just 3 matches remaining, it leaves Maurizio Sarri's side with a six-point and seven-point advantage, effectively putting the likes of Inter Milan and Atalanta BC in a position where they will have to prevail in their remaining outings to stand any chance of denying Juventus a ninth successive crown. But nothing is yet lost. Juventus won’t want a repeat of their last result here on the home soil against 14th position Sampdoria. It is too much gamble for Cristiano Ronaldo team.
Coming into this contest, Juventus are undefeated in their last 38 league matches at home. What a Sparta.
Sampdoria have been on a tremendous run of form in July and have now enjoyed five victories from their last six in the Italian top flight.
Claudio Ranieri's men went into half time against Parma 2-0 down, but an inspired comeback by Sampdoria saw them walk away from the Stadio Ennio Tardini with all three points to lift them further away from the bottom three. They are safe from the bottom 3. And that was their primary goal this campaign, everything other than that would come as bonus and a surprise. And who knows, maybe they are just ready to make a huge surprise this weekend at the Allianz Stadium. In football, everything is possible. We learned that from Udinese two days ago. But since tasting defeat last time out to Genoa in Serie A competition, Sampdoria and their traveling fans will hope for a better result here.
When it comes to this match in particular there is a little bit confusing stats- haven't beaten Juventus in away games against them for the last 6 league matches. But at the same moment, are unbeaten in their last 2 away league matches. So it will be interesting to watch for sure.
Sampdoria manager Claudio Ranieri has to currently contend with reduced team options because of the injuries and suspensions. Maybe that will be their biggest downfall since on Juventus you have to go with your best of the best team.

Juventus haven't scored in 0 of their 17 home matches in Serie A this season. It is hard to imagine it will be the case this time. This is the match in which they want to crown themselves with the crown of the Champions of this 2019-2020 campaign.
So we predict easy Juventus win, with more than 2.5 goals.

Daniel Garcia is originally from Basque Country, and as a kid who grew up just a few streets from Mendizorrotza Stadium, the choice of Deportivo Alavés as his favourite club is more than obvious. Because of his studies, he moved to Madrid where he graduated in Sports Journalism. Daniel plays football on the weekends, but that does not stop him from watching all La Liga matches. He believes that the outcome of a match can be predicted if all the parameters are analyzed well, including form of the players and weather conditions. Currently he is living in Belgrade, and is in love with a Serbian girl who works as a journalist at one of the famous Sport Channels in Serbia.
