Inter will try to maintain their perfect start of the season and hurt a Lazio side at Stadio Olimpico in Rome.
Lazio is trying to recover from an Atalanta 4-1 defeat. Simone Inzaghi desperately needs reinforcements, especially as the injuries continue to pile up, with Vedat Muriqi, Senad Lulic, Stefan Radu, Luiz Felipe, and Denis Vavro all not at 100 percent. Joaquin Correa even pulled out in the warm-up for the 4-1 home defeat to Atalanta on Wednesday.
After that result, another heavy loss at the Olimpico to a top-four contender could be devastating for Lazio’s confidence so early into the campaign. Lazio has lost half of their last 14 Serie A games, conceding at least two goals in each of those seven defeats. The home side did win its first game of the season with Cagliari 2-0 and can trouble Inter Milan but with injuries and shaken confidence, still fatigued after the Atalanta game, that could be a long afternoon for Lazio fans.
Ciro Immobile loves scoring, he netted 36 in Serie A to take the European Golden Shoe, but there’s just something about Inter that is unusual for the Italian striker. In his eight appearances for Lazio against Inter, Immobile has scored just one goal, from the penalty spot, and that came last season. The fact that the Nerazzurri have managed to keep Immobile quiet from open play must play on the striker’s mind. He also missed two great chances against Atalanta so his confidence could be broken at the moment.
Recent history is on Lazio’s side, with the Biancocelesti winning two of the last three league meetings between them.
Lazio (3-5-2): Strakosha; Patric, Acerbi, Akpa Akpro; Lazzari, Milinkovic-Savic, Leiva, Luis Alberto, Marusic; Immobile, Correa

Antonio Conte’s men have taken a different tack this term, more prone to concede goals, but also much more likely to score them, and Achraf Hakimi has made a spectacular start to his Serie A career. He should again start, with Ivan Perisic, Christian Eriksen, and Lautaro Martinez returning after they were rested for the midweek 5-2 win over Benevento. In their quest to overthrow Juventus, Inter has started on a positive note, beating Fiorentina 4-3, in a game that is already a contender for a match of the season.
Inter have scored nine goals in their first two Serie A matches, their most prolific ever start. They found the net 13 times in the opening three rounds in 1960-61. Since the 2014/15 campaign, Inter has won four away league games against Lazio, only achieving a better record against Udinese during that time.
Lukaku has started the new season on top form, already scoring three goals so far, the joint-most in Serie A. The Belgian opened the campaign with one goal in the 4-3 win over Fiorentina, equalizing late on before Danilo D’Ambrosio’s winner, before bagging a brace against Benevento.
Inter (3-4-1-2): Handanovic; D’Ambrosio, De Vrij, Bastoni; Hakimi, Barella, Gagliardini, Perisic; Eriksen; R Lukaku, Lautaro Martinez

It should be a very interesting match to watch with a lot of goals because after two Inter matches with seven goals you have many reasons to believe that is something that will continue. Over 2,5 goals is our preferable bets, but Inter away win and both teams to score are also more than reasonable.

Daniel Garcia is originally from Basque Country, and as a kid who grew up just a few streets from Mendizorrotza Stadium, the choice of Deportivo Alavés as his favourite club is more than obvious. Because of his studies, he moved to Madrid where he graduated in Sports Journalism. Daniel plays football on the weekends, but that does not stop him from watching all La Liga matches. He believes that the outcome of a match can be predicted if all the parameters are analyzed well, including form of the players and weather conditions. Currently he is living in Belgrade, and is in love with a Serbian girl who works as a journalist at one of the famous Sport Channels in Serbia.
