Lazio
Sassuolo
1 - 2
In the first game of this Saturday 11 July 2020 at 17:15 we will see Lazio (3-5-2) facing Sassuolo (4-2-3-1) at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome. The 2nd team in Serie A will face the 8th one.
This Lazio has nothing to do with the the one
we used to watch a few months ago, specially for the lost against Lecce in
their last game, but, the season is not over yet. Fortunately for them, there
will be more matches to play and to try to reach the top, even because Juventus
has lost in the last match. Simone Inzaghi and his guys won't give up that
easy, starting from their next match against Sassuolo this Saturday. Ciro
Immobile will try to continue his deadly goal streak (29 goals and 7 assists in
30 appearances) to help his team and maybe reach or even beat Gonzalo Higuain's
record of the most goals in one season (36 goals in 36 appearances). But, to do
that, he'll need the help of his teammates, players like Luis Alberto (5 goals
and 15 assists in 30 appearances), the midfielder has also celebrated 100
appearances in Serie A with Lazio in the last game, and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic
(5 goals and 5 assists in 30 appearances). The Sergeant knows how this game
important is, he will be ready to help his teammates to bring home 3 points and
try to reach Juventus.
As we take a look to the opponents, we can see Sassuolo, which is always an uncomfortable opponent. After a great win against Bologna, they are looking forward. Roberto De Zerbi's team will have a tough opponent in their next match, but they won't bow down to them. The most dangerous players of Sassuolo is surely “The Trio” of Domenico Berardi (12 goals and 6 assists in 26 appearances), Jeremie Boga(11 goals and 4 assists in 30 appearances) and their main striker Francesco “Ciccio” Caputo (15 goals and 5 assist 31 apperances). Those 3 guys in combine can be realy dangerous for all defences in the league. Sassuolo has proved that he can play with the biggest teams in Serie A and they will also try to do the same even this time against the team of the Italian capital.
This will be the 13th time they face each other in Serie A, Lazio is leading by 8 wins, instead of Sassuolo who has won 2 times. The last time Sassuolo won was in the season 2015/2016 (Sassuolo 2 – 1 Lazio). Also Simone Inzaghi has faced 7 times Sassuolo since he became the Lazio's coach, achieving 5 wins and 2 draws. The popular Biancocelesti will be hungrier in this match, since they have a few more chances to reach or even better overcome Juventus and win the league.

Lazio is motivated to win at the Stadio
Olimpico this Sunday and to prove that they belong to elite class of the Serie
A. This will be a match full of goal chances by both sides. Both Lazio and
Sassuolo will try to score as soon as possible, so that they can play more
pacefully.
After all I said about those two teams and the match, I would say Lazio will win this one, so my choice is 1 or BTTS (GG).
The final result is going to be Lazio 2 - Sassuolo 1
3-5-2
4-2-3-1

Daniel Garcia is originally from Basque Country, and as a kid who grew up just a few streets from Mendizorrotza Stadium, the choice of Deportivo Alavés as his favourite club is more than obvious. Because of his studies, he moved to Madrid where he graduated in Sports Journalism. Daniel plays football on the weekends, but that does not stop him from watching all La Liga matches. He believes that the outcome of a match can be predicted if all the parameters are analyzed well, including form of the players and weather conditions. Currently he is living in Belgrade, and is in love with a Serbian girl who works as a journalist at one of the famous Sport Channels in Serbia.
