Leeds host Leicester at Elland Road (Leeds) in the 9th round of the Premier League on Monday. November 2 and the match kicks off at 8pm (UK).
MATCH PREVIEW
Leeds put in a superb showing at Aston Villa last time out, as Patrick Bamford’s hat-trick saw the Whites come away from Villa Park with a 3-0 win. The win pushed up the table to 7th place with 10 points. They've won just once at Elland Road this season and Marcelo Bielsa will hope to follow up last week's victory with a 4th win of the season.
As for the Foxes, Leicester have won three consecutive games, following up their wins over Zorya and AEK in Europa League with a win at the Emirates against Arsenal (0-1).They are 5th with 12 points ahead of the game on Monday and the Foxes have won all three away league matches this season, but will visit Leeds with few key players absent.
MATCH ANALYSIS
Marcelo Bielsa’s side is looking to establish themselves back in the Premier League, after a 16-year absence from English football's top flight. Their pressing is relentless and the opponents have to work hard to respond to Leeds' intensity which only few teams will be able to match. Leeds have enjoyed an entertaining start to the season with their high tempo as the Whites’ current total of 12 scored goals (2.0 on average) is the most by any promoted side after six matches since 1992/93.
Last Friday Leeds ended Villa's winning start and ruined their chance of going top of the Premier League thanks to a brilliant Patrick Bamford hat-trick. The result lifted Leeds to third, albeit briefly - their highest position at the end of a day in the top-flight since September 2002.It was reward for a thoroughly positive performance from a visiting side that should probably have produced more goals.
On the other hand, after the Foxes won their first three games, their winning run came to an end after losing comfortably to West Ham at home, which was followed by another dire home display against Villa. It was once more proven that without Jamie Vardy to call upon up front, Leicester struggles to carve out meaningful chances. However two victories in Europe and a win at Arsenal last weekend have put them back on the right path ahead of the Leeds match.
In their last PL game Jamie Vardy came off the bench to score a customary goal against Arsenal and send Leicester to within a point of the Premier League summit with a first win at the Emirates since 1973. This was Leicester's 4th victory in the Premier League this season, their joint-highest after 6 games, having also won four of their opening six in 2000-01. Leeds' high tempo will disrupt Leicester's approach, but the Foxes are often good for a goal, especially with Jamie Vardy excelling on the road.

This is the first Premier League meeting between Leeds and Leicester since April 2004.
Leicester have lost just two of their last 13 league meetings with Leeds (W5 D6), and this the first league meeting between the sides since a 1-0 win for the Foxes in January 2014.
Leeds United have won 15 of their last 20 league matches (D2 L3) and Since Brendan Rodgers took charge of his Leicester 2019, only Liverpool (45) and Manchester City (37) have won more Premier League games than the Foxes (27).
Leeds striker Patrick Bamford has scored six goals in his first six league matches this season while Jamie Vardy has scored 12 goals in his last 15 Premier League appearances against newly promoted teams.
My prediction for this match is: Over 2.5 goals

Wyatt grew up in the suburbs of London and he is a big Chelsea fan. As a young boy, he found his love for football, which became an obsession, but when he tried playing it he soon realized that he just wasn't talented enough. Bearing that in mind, Wyatt decided to learn everything there is to know about all the teams and players, with special focus on Premier League and Championship . Wyatt has a big affection for Championship and he is well versed in all the teams and knows their advantages and weak spots very well. He is an economist, and being one makes him good with numbers and also good with the odds. His specialty are BTTS matches.
