Leicester host Crystal Palace at the King Power Stadium (Leicester) in the 33rd round of the Premier League and the match kicks off at 8 pm (UK) on Monday, April 26. Read our reasons for Leicester vs Crystal Palace prediction and betting tips.
Leicester booked their spot in the FA Cup final at Southampton's expense last Sunday. After back-to-back defeats against West Ham and Man City in the league, victory was the perfect morale boost ahead of the final games of the campaign and it showed in a first-half rout of West Brom on Thursday night. The Foxes are sat 3rd in the standings and a top-four finish is entirely in their hands. Meanwhile, Crystal Palace look to be safe from relegation, as they sit 11 points above the bottom three ahead of the weekend's action. It's been a pretty uneventful season for the Eagles and is now drifting to the finish.
Leicester have a lot to play as they enter the final month of their season. The Foxes are third in the Premier League table and bidding to secure the top-four finish that agonisingly eluded them last term. Thursday night's 3-0 victory over West Brom consolidated their current position behind leaders Man City and second-placed Man United. The result put Brendan Rodgers side four points ahead of closest challengers Chelsea and West Ham, who are fourth and fifth respectively.
Games are starting to run out, though. Leicester have six league fixtures remaining, starting with the visit of Crystal Palace on Monday. That is followed by matches against Southampton and Newcastle, before crunch showdowns with Man United, Spurs and Chelsea. Of course, there is also the small matter of an FA Cup final against Chelsea at Wembley on May 15. Brendan Rodgers' men were pipped to a Champions League spot on the final day of the 2019-20 campaign as they ended up in fifth and are now looking to avoid the repeat of that.
As for Palace, they will have had a 16-day break since going down 4-1 at home to Chelsea by the time this game kicks off. Roy Hodgson’s side had previously pulled comfortably clear of the drop zone by picking up five wins since the turn of the year. However, those victories were all against teams in the bottom half of the table, with the 12th-placed Wolves the biggest scalp. Sheffield Utd, Newcastle, Brighton, and West Brom were the other victims, but the Eagles predictably do not tend to fare as well versus more successful sides.
Against Chelsea, Palace were guilty of giving the ball away too cheaply in their own half and possibly paid the price for thinking they could compete with the Blues. With over a fortnight to reflect on that loss, Hodgson may adopt a cagier approach to this contest. The last trip on the road for the Eagles saw them secure a vital point at Goodison Park. Palace will look to build on that result and capitalise on their strong away form against the Foxes. Christian Benteke may prove to be pivotal in securing a result for the Eagles as five of the Belgian’s six goals this season have come away from home.

Leicester meet Crystal Palace after five of their six Premier League wins against Crystal Palace had seen them keep a clean sheet – when conceding at least once, the Foxes’ record against them in the competition is W1, D3, L8. However, Palace’s recent trips to the King Power Stadium include the 4-1 victory in February 2019 and the 3-0 victory in December 2017.
Leicester are looking good for a top-four finish and should be able to strengthen their position by beating Crystal Palace. The Eagles will be content with having stayed clear of any relegation trouble this term but do tend to come up short when facing teams high up in the table.
