LEICESTER VS FULHAM MATCH ANALYSIS
The Foxes have been in impressive form recently, having been on a six-game winning run in all competitions. They were top of the league, and have won three PL games on the trot after suffering back-to-back home defeats against West Ham and Aston Villa. However, Liverpool ended that run with a 3-0 win at Anfield last weekend that pushed Leicester down the standings to 4th with 18 points so far. As for Fulham, The Cottagers once again do not seem to be competitive at the Premier League level. Fulham made a slow start to the season as they fell to their 7th defeat in nine games against Everton (2-3) on November 22. The Cottagers are 18th in the standings with 4 points from their only win since promotion against another new-comers West Brom (2-0) and a draw with Sheffield Utd (1-1).
Leicester lost comfortably to Hammers at home, which was followed by another dire home display against Villa, after winning their first three games in the PL. It was once more proven that without Jamie Vardy to call upon up front, Leicester struggles to carve out meaningful chances. However three victories in Europe and three wins - against Arsenal, Leeds, and Wolves before the break - have put them back on the right path ahead of the Liverpool match, which they comfortably lost.
Brendan Rodgers' side could have gone top of the Premier League with victory, testimony to their fine start to the season, but instead, the Foxes headed out of Anfield soundly beaten by the reigning champions. They also rescued a late point from the jaws of defeat in Braga on Thursday night, but it means back-to-back competitive matches without a win for them. The Foxes have never won three consecutive Premier League games played on a Monday before, and struggling Fulham are perfect opponents for them to bounce back with a win.
The last season's play-off winners in the Championship were exposed in the first nine matches for all their shortcomings and weaknesses, and they will have to raise their game significantly if they want to avoid the drop. The Cottagers have made their worst ever start in a top-flight after the first six games (D1 L5), but with a win in round 7 (2-0 against West Brom), they had avoided their worst run of games ever. However, they got back to losing ways, as they suffered two more defeats since, with the latest at the hands of Everton in London.
It was a dramatic game, where Fulham missed their third penalty of the season, and just could not complete a comeback after, admittedly, creating enough opportunities to do so. Scott Parker will not be satisfied with the result, but he can be pleased with the way they searched for the equalizer until the final whistle. This defeat leaves Fulham in the relegation zone, one point from safety, but that could change for the worse as they remain one of four teams yet to win an away league match.

Leicester will want to amend for a 3-0 loss to Liverpool when they welcome Fulham at their King Power Stadium. The Foxes aim to retain their spot in the top four, and they are likely to go all guns blazing at the Cottagers. However, the Foxes have lost three of their last five PL home games and with Soyuncu, Amartey, and Ndidi on the sidelines through injury, they could find themselves in trouble if they underestimate Fulham.
Fulham, on the other hand, have collected only four points from a possible 27 in the league. The capital club took too long to get going against the Toffees, and they are unlikely to spoil Leicester City’s party at King Power Stadium. The good news for the visitors is that Aboubakar Kamara returns from suspension and that they have kept a clean sheet in 67% of their Premier League meetings with Leicester (4/6).
