Leicester host Manchester City at the King Power Stadium(Leicester) in the 30th round of the Premier League and the match kicks off at 5.30 pm (UK) on Saturday, April 3. Read our reasons for Leicester vs Manchester City prediction and betting tips.
The Foxes are in an excellent position in the Premier League standings and despite suffering injuries to top players are still picking up the results in the quest for Champions League places. Leicester are currently riding high in the Premier League table and are seven points clear of West Ham United in fifth, and just one point behind second-placed Manchester Utd. The runaway champions-to-be, on the other hand, look unstoppable in 2021. They remain in the hunt for silverware on all four fronts and have extended their lead at the top of the Premier League to 14 points.
Sitting third in the Premier League standings and into the Semi-Finals of the Emirates FA Cup, as well as enjoying a first European campaign in four years, there have been plenty of memorable moments during the 2020/21 season. Only league leaders Manchester City (22 wins), who they play on Saturday, have triumphed on more occasions than Leicester (17) in the Premier League this season, though it has been Leicester's away form that has been particularly impressive.
Despite injuries to key men such as James Maddison and Harvey Barnes, Brendan Rodgers has done a superb job of keeping the Foxes on track as they head into the final straight. Yes, they were knocked out of Europe, but are doing superbly domestically where they have picked up back-to-back PL wins against Brighton and Sheffield Utd before the break. And, if they beat Man City at the weekend, last season’s last-minute collapse, where they went agonisingly close to secure Champions League football is likely off the cards.
Meanwhile, the finish line is in sight for the Citizens, and they could not really be in a much better position after this international break. They return to action with two months of the season to go, their quadruple hopes intact and much of their remaining task laid out in front of them. City have adapted their style to be more possession orientated, and it is hard to knock them out of their rhythm. It seems they can go anywhere and play that way - get on the ball and keep it, and wear down the opposition.
They are also in the fortunate position of not having any injuries - at the moment anyway. It's quite unheard of to have a full squad to choose from at this stage of a campaign, but apart from keeping everyone fit, Pep has kept all his players happy too. Everyone is playing their part, and it doesn't seem to matter who he picks. Whoever comes into the team, doesn't seem to affect their overall performance. So, whatever happens next, Guardiola's side have done brilliantly to be in this position, and deserve great credit for being so consistent, despite a relentless schedule.

Leicester meet Man City looking to complete their first league double over the Citizens since the 1986-87 season, following their 5-2 win at the Etihad earlier this season. Moreover, no team has ever scored six league goals in a single season against a side managed by Pep Guardiola before.
Leicester are looking to win three consecutive PL games for the fourth time this season, and first since January, while City have won their last 14 away games in all competitions, extending the all-time record among teams in England’s top four tiers.
We expect a high-scoring affair here and BettingKick’s Leicester vs Man City prediction is: Over 2.5 goals
