Leicester host West Ham in the fourth week of the Premier League at King Power Stadium (Leicester) on Sunday, October 4 and the match kicks off at 12pm (UK).
MATCH PREVIEW
Leicester currently have a 100% record from their first three Premier League games and it is the first time ever that the Foxes have started a top-flight campaign with three successive victories. They have also scored 12 goals which is the best tally for any Premier League team since 2012/2013 that a team has scored so many goals at this stage of the season. They are joint-top of the league above Liverpool and Everton on goal difference.
As for West Ham, their most recent match in the Premier League, the 4-0 win against Wolves last Sunday, was the Hammers' biggest top-flight victory since New Years' Day. It was their first win in the league, and with those three points they are in the 11th place in the table. They also lost to Everton in midweek in the 4th round of the Carabao Cup in midweek (4-1) and now they can focus on picking up points and climbing the table.
MATCH ANALYSIS
The Foxes have remained at the top of the table after three, but it's way too early to get carried away. Last season they were in the top-four most of the campaign only to finish outside the Champions League spots eventually. Poor form in the second half of the last season, when they won only four of their last 17 league matches and went out of both domestic cups – was down to various reasons, namely injuries, squad depth and a lack of fighting spirit when it mattered most. Their defeat to Arsenal at home (0-2), in the third round of the Carabao Cup was a reminder of that bad run. However, they finished last week with a sensational away win against Man City (2-5).Vardy scored a hat-trick and Madisson was impressive, while their makeshift defense soaked up the pressure well. Since then, they have bolstered the defense with the signing of teenage French defender Wesley Fofana from Saint-Etienne.
The Hammers have opened this season with a 0-2 home defeat to Newcastle and a 2-1 defeat at the Emirates against Arsenal, which was a disappointing continuation of the last season's poor form. Problems off the pitch are also piling up and with all the distractions it will be tough to regroup and refocus in time when they face the league leaders on Sunday. Nevertheless, they showed improvement against Arsenal despite the defeat, and against Wolves they finally regrouped and recorded an emphatic victory (4-0).The resul lifted West Ham from 18th to 11th place in the table. The fact that the Hammers had lost each of their last four PL fixtures against Wolves without scoring a single goal, is another testimony to their dominant performance where they never looked like surrendering the lead. It was also the perfect way to go into a challenging set of fixtures in October when the Hammers will face Tottenham, Manchester City and champions Liverpool, starting with a trip to Leicester on Sunday.

Tucker grew up in London, more precisely in West London. But, unlike many locals, he doesn’t like big and famous teams from that part of the city. Instead, ever since he was a kid, Tucker was passionate for lower divisions. This passion was born when his uncle from Reading took him to the local derby with Aldershot Town when he was 6 and since that moment football was running through his veins. He became a huge fan of the Royals for life, and whenever he could, he goes to Madejski Stadium to enjoy the game. Apart from being a job, his sports knowledge also becomes more than useful when he is betting live on high stakes which is also his passion.
