RB Leipzig is out to get the first win in three games when they host in-form Union Berlin on Wednesday.
Union and Bielefeld are the only current top-flight sides against which Leipzig is yet to drop a point so they are looking forward to the next match to break the current bad streak. Leipzig lost 3-1 to Borussia Dortmund in their last home match and only took a point on Matchday 13 after Willi Orban equalized to earn them a 2-2 draw at Wolfsburg on Saturday. For a third straight meeting with a top-six rival, Orban and French defender Upamecano will have to be on their guard against a visiting side that - with 32 goals - has the second-best attack in the Bundesliga. Kevin Kampl should continue in midfield after being restored against Wolfsburg, while both Christopher Nkunku and Justin Kluivert made their return as substitutes in that game after several weeks out with injury.
Leipzig: Gulacsi - Klostermann, Upamecano, Orban - Mukiele, Sabitzer (c) Kampl, Angelino - Olmo, Nkunku - Forsberg
Out: Henrichs (knee), Konate (ankle), Laimer (knee), Szoboszlai (groin)
Doubtful: -
Coach: Julian Nagelsmann
Leipzig and Leverkusen were the only current Bundesliga teams against whom Union has never picked up a point until last Friday. That changed when Cedric Teuchert made the most of an injury to Union attacker Sheraldo Becker in the first half of his side's win over Bayer Leverkusen to get the only goal of the game late on. With fellow forwards Max Kruse, Joel Pohjanpalo, and Anthony Ujah still unavailable, the former German U21 cap stands a good chance of getting a start even if Becker does recover for this game. Leon Dajaku, meanwhile, is another attacking option available to Union boss Urs Fischer after the 19-year-old signed on loan from Bayern Munich over the weekend.
Union: Luthe - Friedrich, Knoche, Schlotterbeck - Trimmel (c), Griesbeck, Andrich, Lenz - Ingvartsen - Teuchert, Awoniyi
Out: Kruse (thigh), Pohjanpalo (ankle), Ujah (knee)
Doubtful: Becker (ankle), Hübner (groin), Prömel (knock)
Coach: Urs Fischer

Leipzig won both fixtures against Union last season. They opened the 2019/20 campaign with a 4-0 win in Berlin on Matchday 1 - Union's first-ever Bundesliga game - and triumphed 3-1 at home on Matchday 18. The home win is expected as Leipzig has scored three goals in every home game (Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2) against Union.

Daniel Garcia is originally from Basque Country, and as a kid who grew up just a few streets from Mendizorrotza Stadium, the choice of Deportivo Alavés as his favourite club is more than obvious. Because of his studies, he moved to Madrid where he graduated in Sports Journalism. Daniel plays football on the weekends, but that does not stop him from watching all La Liga matches. He believes that the outcome of a match can be predicted if all the parameters are analyzed well, including form of the players and weather conditions. Currently he is living in Belgrade, and is in love with a Serbian girl who works as a journalist at one of the famous Sport Channels in Serbia.
