Real Madrid will be looking to build on a hard-fought 1-0 win over Real Valladolid when they take on Levante on day 5 of the new La Liga campaign.
Los Blancos are determined to defend the domestic trophy, and, no doubt, they are likely to adopt an attack-minded approach in Sunday’s football match. Even though the likes of Eden Hazard, Marcelo, and Toni Kroos remain in the recovery room, the reigning champions are seen as hot favourites to win the Estadio Ciudad de Valencia showdown. The reigning champions have picked up seven points from their first three matches of the season, sharing the points with Real Sociedad before beating Real Betis and Real Valladolid. Zinedine Zidane will be desperate for his side to put another victory on the board ahead of the international break, particularly as a clash with Barcelona will soon follow. Serbia rising star Luka Jovic has been producing fine showings at the start of the season, and he is likely to keep his place in the starting XI.
Los Levantinos, on the other hand, are on a quest to secure yet another La Liga survival, but they are unlikely to make life difficult for the star-studded champions behind closed doors. Unlike his opposite number, Levante boss Paco will keep changes to a minimum in a bid to build on their latest result. Long-serving left-back Tono could return to the team in place of Carlos Clerc.

Daniel Garcia is originally from Basque Country, and as a kid who grew up just a few streets from Mendizorrotza Stadium, the choice of Deportivo Alavés as his favourite club is more than obvious. Because of his studies, he moved to Madrid where he graduated in Sports Journalism. Daniel plays football on the weekends, but that does not stop him from watching all La Liga matches. He believes that the outcome of a match can be predicted if all the parameters are analyzed well, including form of the players and weather conditions. Currently he is living in Belgrade, and is in love with a Serbian girl who works as a journalist at one of the famous Sport Channels in Serbia.
