Luton host Blackburn at Kenilworth Road (Luton) in the 12th round of the Championship and the match kicks off at 3 pm (UK) on Saturday, November 21.
LUTON VS BLACKBURN MATCH ANALYSIS
Luton opened this campaign surprisingly well, having won three of their four league matches. However, they recorded only two wins from their next seven league games (W2-D2-L3) and are sitting 10th in the table with 17 points. They have picked up four points from their last two away games in the league (0-1 against Rotherham and 1-1 against Huddersfield) and the in-form Blackburn team at home next will be a nice chance to continue the run.
As for Blackburn, the Rovers Blackburn are in the 12th place in the table after 11 rounds in the league, having picked up 14 points after their latest home win (3-1) against QPR. They are blowing hot and cold at the start of the season (W4-D2-L5), but are one the more entertaining sides to watch. They have netted four in both of their away wins this season, and the hosts will be in trouble if the Rovers are in the scoring mood again.
Last season, the Hatters managed to avoid relegation despite conceding 80 + goals and if this time they can have more good days than bad ones, they shouldn't worry about survival. Of course, they were considered one of the most likely relegation candidates before the season started, but their performances are proving their doubters wrong. Luton continued their fine form as they edged out Rotherham and drew against the Terriers most recently before the break.
In their last league match at the John Smith’s Stadium a fine header from Ajax loanee Carel Eiting saw Luton share the points with Huddersfield after they had to come from behind.Nathan Jones, their manager, said afterwards that it was a good point for the Hatters as they colected four points on the road in a week, which was something they would have taken at the start for sure.
The Rovers on the other hand, have scored 23 goals so far and apart from Tyrhys Dolan, a young prospect from their famed academy, they now have another teenage prodigy in Harvey Elliot, who was signed from Liverpool on a season loan and who already has a goal and three assists to his name and his latest performance against QPR earned him a player of the week award.
In that match, Adam Armstrong, another in-form Rovers’ player, scored twice to take his tally to 12 goals in 12 games as Blackburn beat QPR for only their second win in eight games. They produced more competitive and balanced performance and will hope to replicate it against Luton when they meet on Saturday.

The Hatters have been producing excellent displays in the league this season, and consequently, they sit in the top 10 ahead of the Saturday’s clash with the Rovers. Luton are also eyeing their third home win of the campaign. In Luton’s previous nine league fixtures, eight have finished with under 2.5 goals.
On the other hand, the Riversiders won against QPR before the international break, thus ending their three-game winless streak in the league. Blackburn will try to push for one of the play-off spots, and will set up to attack in Saturday’s football match. However, beating the Hatters on the road will be easier said than done.

Tucker grew up in London, more precisely in West London. But, unlike many locals, he doesn’t like big and famous teams from that part of the city. Instead, ever since he was a kid, Tucker was passionate for lower divisions. This passion was born when his uncle from Reading took him to the local derby with Aldershot Town when he was 6 and since that moment football was running through his veins. He became a huge fan of the Royals for life, and whenever he could, he goes to Madejski Stadium to enjoy the game. Apart from being a job, his sports knowledge also becomes more than useful when he is betting live on high stakes which is also his passion.
