MAN UTD VS WOLVES MATCH ANALYSIS
Manchester United come into this game following a 2-2 draw to Brendan Rodgers' Leicester on the Boxing Day at the King Power Stadium. It kept Man Utd in 4th place with 27 points, firmly in the title hunt and made it eight Premier League games unbeaten (W6, D2) for the division’s second highest top scorers (30). Their opponents also drew 1-1 against Jose Mourinho's Tottenham on Sunday at the Molineux Stadium. However, it means they have won just one of their last five league fixtures, which has been enough for 11th place in the standings after picking up 21 point so far.
Man Utd were held to a 2-2 draw with Leicester on Saturday, but are now unbeaten in eight in the Premier League (W6, D2). Two wins in three at Old Trafford suggests United are starting to find the home form and they could sneak a narrow win over Wolves in a game that has been a low scoring affair in recent seasons. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will assess the fitness of Marcus Rashford, who suffered a shoulder injury at Leicester, while Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Victor Lindelof remain out.
As for their Boxing Day match, Marcus Rashford opened the scoring, before Harvey Barnes hit a first-half equaliser. Bruno Fernandes then gave United the lead with just over 10 minutes left, but Axel Tuanzebe deflected a Jamie Vardy’s shot into his own net in the 85th minute to deny the Red Devils a record-equalling 11th successive away win in the top-flight. However, they did set the record for being the first side to score two or more goals in 11 consecutive top-flight away games since 1959.
Wolves, on the other hand, are missing Raul Jimenez. The Mexico international's absence has shown a bluntness in attack, with youngster Fabio Silva still learning his trade. Pedro Neto has impressed, while Daniel Podence and Adama Traore could prove to be crucial if they want to challenge for the top-six again. Star striker Raul Jimenez and Spanish full-back Jonny will miss out, while defender Leander Dendoncker, centre-back Willy Boly, and Brazilian left-back Marcal will still be assessed.
In their weekend match, Jose Mourinho's men led for 85 minutes after Tanguy Ndombele had given the Spurs a lead after just 57 seconds. They succeeded in their efforts to stop Harry Kane and Son Heung-min duo, but showed no real threat up front in the Jimenez’s absence. However, they were rewarded for not giving up after Morocco defender Saiss headed home past Hugo Lloris.

Historically, Man Utd haven’t lost any of their last nine home league games against Wolves (W6 D3) since 1980, keeping six clean sheets in that run. But since returning to the Premier League in 2018, Wolves are unbeaten in all four of their league meetings with United (W1 D3).
The Red Devils have been entertaining to watch with six of their last eight PL fixtures featuring over 3.5 goals. There is nothing wrong with United going forward this season but the good work attacking-wise had been too often nulified by poor defensive displays as was the case against Leicester.
Wolves have the opposite problem, because they don't have much of a cutting edge. Since the Mexican striker's injury, Wolves have won one of five matches. They were excellent in possession against the Spurs but were poor in the final third. Nuno Espirito Santo is looking for a striker in a January transfer window but a loan inquiry for Real Madrid's Luka Jovic looks destined to fail.
BettingKick’s Manchester United vs Wolves Prediction is: Over 2.5 goals

Tucker grew up in London, more precisely in West London. But, unlike many locals, he doesn’t like big and famous teams from that part of the city. Instead, ever since he was a kid, Tucker was passionate for lower divisions. This passion was born when his uncle from Reading took him to the local derby with Aldershot Town when he was 6 and since that moment football was running through his veins. He became a huge fan of the Royals for life, and whenever he could, he goes to Madejski Stadium to enjoy the game. Apart from being a job, his sports knowledge also becomes more than useful when he is betting live on high stakes which is also his passion.
