Leaders Milan is forced into changes upfront but could pour more misery on Cesare Prandelli’s struggling Fiorentina.
The Rossoneri were able to grab a Europa League point in Lille on Thursday even without Zlatan Ibrahimovic and the current Capocannoniere is also due to miss out this weekend, along with Rafael Leao, although Alexis Saelemaekers could return. Brahim Diaz impressed off the bench in France and is tipped to start behind Ante Rebic. Milan is one game away from equalling the club record of 29 consecutive Serie A matches on target, set from December 1972 to December 1973.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic rolled back the years with another sensational double, inspiring Milan to their first Serie A victory away to Napoli in a decade. Curiously, the last time the Rossoneri conquered the Stadio San Paolo was in October 2010 and Ibrahimovic was on target then too. The 39-year-old steered an extraordinary header in from the Theo Hernandez cross, then improvised using his knee to meet an Ante Rebic assist. Dries Mertens finally managed to beat impressive Gianluigi Donnarumma, but Tiemoue Bakayoko saw red against his old club for a second bookable offense. Jens Petter Hauge rounded out the scoreline in stoppages with his debut Serie A strike.
Milan (4-2-3-1): G Donnarumma; Calabria, Kjaer, Romagnoli, Theo Hernandez; Bennacer, Kessie; Saelemaekers, Calhanoglu, Brahim Diaz; Rebic
Suspended: None
Injured: Ibrahimovic, Leao
Fiorentina is in crisis and even the arrival of Prandelli didn’t boost their prospects, as his debut ended in a 1-0 home defeat to Benevento. Giacomo Bonaventura pulled out in the warm-up of that game but is ready to start against his old club with this first return to San Siro, supporting Franck Ribery and Dusan Vlahovic. Patrick Cutrone is another ex-Rossoneri star eager to make a good impression here.
Benevento ruined Cesare Prandelli’s return to the Fiorentina bench, as Riccardo Improta pounced on a defensive error. It had been over five years since Prandelli last walked into the Stadio Franchi as the Viola boss, so it represented an emotional moment for the coach who replaced Beppe Iachini. However, the points went to Benevento, who ended their run of four consecutive defeats.
Fiorentina (4-3-1-2): Dragowski; Caceres, Milenkovic, Pezzella, Biraghi; Amrabat, Pulgar, Castrovilli; Bonaventura; Ribery, Vlahovic
Suspended: None
Injured: None

Despite the absence of Zlatan, Milan played some good football also without him. Rebic is back and he could do the work against the struggling Viola team. Both teams to score looks like a most reasonable bet.

Daniel Garcia is originally from Basque Country, and as a kid who grew up just a few streets from Mendizorrotza Stadium, the choice of Deportivo Alavés as his favourite club is more than obvious. Because of his studies, he moved to Madrid where he graduated in Sports Journalism. Daniel plays football on the weekends, but that does not stop him from watching all La Liga matches. He believes that the outcome of a match can be predicted if all the parameters are analyzed well, including form of the players and weather conditions. Currently he is living in Belgrade, and is in love with a Serbian girl who works as a journalist at one of the famous Sport Channels in Serbia.
