AC Milan is at the top of the league at the moment despite their loss against Juventus but Torino will have their chances to hurt Milan's ambitions to come back on the unbeaten path.
Milan saw their 27-round Serie A unbeaten run come to an end, as Federico Chiesa inspired the 3-1 Juventus victory at San Siro. Chiesa was clearly in the mood at San Siro from the start, as after a practice attempt that thumped the upright, he ran onto Paulo Dybala’s back-heel flick to blaze past Theo Hernandez. Davide Calabria got the equalizer on a Rafael Leao counter, although the Bianconeri protested there was an earlier potential foul on Adrien Rabiot. There were difficult saves from both goalkeepers before Chiesa struck again with a left-foot finish. Substitutes Dejan Kulusevski and McKennie combined for the third goal after another Gianluigi Donnarumma save.
Milan's injury crisis continues as multiple reports in Italy claim the injured Hakan Calhanoglu will be out against Torino. Pioli will still be without the injured Matteo Gabbia, Ismael Bennacer, and Alexis Saelemaekers, while Krunic and Rebic are out due to COVID-19 infection. Though nearing a return soon, Zlatan Ibrahimovic is still struggling with the muscle injury that has kept him out since mid-December, before which he had spelled out with both illness and injury. Alongside the dependable Franck Kessie in midfield, Sandro Tonali is back from a costly suspension which caused him to miss the crucial Juventus clash. Calabria could fill someplace in the midfield again, and Diogo Dalot will play at the right back.
AC Milan (4-2-3-1): Gianluigi Donnarumma; Theo Hernandez, Alessio Romagnoli, Simon Kjaer, Diogo Dalot; Franck Kessie, Sandro Tonali; Brahim Diaz, Davide Calabria, Samu Castillejo; Rafael Leao
The Granata are unbeaten in the last four Serie A games after today’s 1-1 home draw against Hellas Verona. Marco Giampaolo said the only way Torino could avoid Dimarco’s screamer was to ‘move the goal away’ and insisted playing against Hellas Verona is ‘very difficult.’ The Granata finally got their second win of the season to open 2021, a 3-0 triumph away to Parma, but they will be satisfied with a point against Verona, who held Juventus in this season and were a tough opponent for every rival. The deadlock was broken in an absolutely spectacular style. Just days after Mattia Zaccagni scored with an overhead kick, Federico Dimarco rivaled him with a Marco Van Basten style volley. The ball was floated over his shoulder by Zaccagni for the left-foot volley into the far top corner from a very difficult angle. Toro equalized late on when Simone Verdi’s ball to the back post bounced off a bemused Marco Davide Faraoni, turning into an accidental assist for Bremer’s tap-in.
Torino boss Giampaolo has a fully-fit squad, with midfielder Daniele Baselli now back from a long-term injury. In a familiar 3-5-2 formation, former Milan man Ricardo Rodriguez starts at wing-back, with Wilfried Singo on the opposite flank. Serbian midfielder Lukic could start once again, as a preferable option to more offensive Simone Verdi.
Torino (3-5-2): Salvatore Sirigu; Bremer, Lyanco, Armando Izzo; Ricardo Rodriguez, Karol Linetty, Tomas Rincon, Amer Gojak, Wilfried Stephane Singo; Sasa Lukic, Andrea Belotti

Milan has an injury crisis and Torino is on their best level from the start of the season, regarding form and confidence. It will be a very entertaining match and both teams to score looks like an almost sure bet.

Daniel Garcia is originally from Basque Country, and as a kid who grew up just a few streets from Mendizorrotza Stadium, the choice of Deportivo Alavés as his favourite club is more than obvious. Because of his studies, he moved to Madrid where he graduated in Sports Journalism. Daniel plays football on the weekends, but that does not stop him from watching all La Liga matches. He believes that the outcome of a match can be predicted if all the parameters are analyzed well, including form of the players and weather conditions. Currently he is living in Belgrade, and is in love with a Serbian girl who works as a journalist at one of the famous Sport Channels in Serbia.
