MILLWALL VS QPR MATCH ANALYSIS
The Lions are in 14th place with 20 points (W4-D8-L4) and after winning four in their first eight league fixtures they are now on a barren run of eight games without a win (D5-L3). They have gone into an international break with two back-to-back goalless draws, having not scored a goal in three consecutive games. They came back with three more draws and, most recently, back-to-back defeats against Blackburn (2-1) and Derby (0-1). As for QPR, they could have moved into the top half of the table with a good result against Brentford on matchday 14, but the Bees won 2-1, and QPR went on to lose their next two matches – against Bristol (1-2) and Huddersfield (2-0), which saw them drop down the standings to 18th place with 17 points.
Gary Rowett has brought much needed stability to this Millwall side, while still maintaining Millwall's typical aggressiveness with pressing and getting under the opponent's skin. They are still struggling for goals, but the foundations have been laid for them to build on their near miss with the play-offs last July. Historically, Millwall have not started seasons out of the blocks and after their little unbeaten run (W3-D1) they are now winless in the last eight games, which does not bode well for the rest of the campaign.
On Saturday, Derby ended a 12-match winless streak with Jason Knight netting the winning goal midway through the second half. Millwall had arguably the better of the chances, but they could not make anything out of it. Also, the result was overshadowed by some of the fans, who booed players taking a knee, following the lifting of the second national lockdown on 2 December. The negative publicity will only highlight the underperforming on the pitch, ahead of the capital city derby.
As for QPR, if there was one thing that QPR provided last season, it was entertainment. The west Londoners scored 67 goals in last season's Championship campaign - a figure beaten only by Leeds, West Brom, Brentford, and Cardiff. However, 40 of these goals came from Eberechi Eze, Jordan Hugill, and Nahki Wells, all of whom now play their football elsewhere. They are still fun to watch, but this campaign has proven so far that they will struggle without those three.
After their defeat to the Terriers on Saturday, they now have four defeats in their last six matches (W1-D1-L4) and have conceded in all of them. After an impressive first-half showing in their defeat by Bristol City on Tuesday, the Rangers failed to repeat it in West Yorkshire. They are now four points above the relegation zone, after a lackluster performance at the Kirklees Stadium. Mark Warburton’s side will hope for the three points as much as their Saturday’s hosts.

Millwall have lost three of their last four league games against QPR (D1), as many as in their previous 18 against the Hoops, while QPR are looking to win consecutive away league games against Millwall for the first time, having won 2-1 last season at the Den.
Neither side bosts of good results recently, as the Lions are winless in their last eight league matches (D5 L3), while visitors have won just one of their last 12 away games in all competitions (D4 L7).

Tucker grew up in London, more precisely in West London. But, unlike many locals, he doesn’t like big and famous teams from that part of the city. Instead, ever since he was a kid, Tucker was passionate for lower divisions. This passion was born when his uncle from Reading took him to the local derby with Aldershot Town when he was 6 and since that moment football was running through his veins. He became a huge fan of the Royals for life, and whenever he could, he goes to Madejski Stadium to enjoy the game. Apart from being a job, his sports knowledge also becomes more than useful when he is betting live on high stakes which is also his passion.
