Napoli host Roma in what might be the last match at the San Paolo before the stadium officially changes its name in homage to Diego Maradona.
On Sunday, Roma arrives for the first Serie A match after Maradona died on Wednesday. The mayor of Naples has confirmed the stadium will officially be named after the Argentine legend next week. After reports of unrest at Napoli, the club quashed rumors of an incident in the dressing room involving coach Gennaro Gattuso and some of the players, but the home side is desperate to bounce back from back-to-back defeats in Campania. Their last home win in Serie A came in a 4-1 triumph over Atalanta on October 17, as Sassuolo and Milan have left with all the spoils since.
Victor Osimhen is still out for the home side but Dries Mertens and Lorenzo Insigne are expected to return to the starting line-up. Piotr Zielinski could continue in the No10 role behind the striker.
Napoli (4-2-3-1): Meret; Di Lorenzo, Manolas, Koulibaly, Mario Rui; Demme, Fabian Ruiz; Politano, Zielinski, Insigne; Mertens
Suspended: Bakayoko
Injured: Hysaj, Osimhen, Rrhamani
Another stern test awaits the Azzurri when a high-flying Roma arrives this weekend. Paulo Fonseca, who recently said ‘every match is different due to the tactical game in Italy’, prepares for the big match knowing center-forward Edin Dzeko has recovered from coronavirus and is available against the Partenopei. The Giallorossi have their captain back in the squad and are on an unbeaten run of seven games in the league, picking up 13 points in their last five games. La Lupa sits third in the table, three points behind league leaders Milan ahead of the match against Napoli, who dropped to sixth after the 3-1 defeat to the Rossoneri last time.
Pedro Rodriguez and Henkrikh Mkhitaryan should start behind Edin Dzeko for Roma, who should have Chris Smalling available after a difficult week with food poisoning and knee problems.
Roma has scored 74 goals away to Napoli in Serie A. Only Milan (87) and Juventus (87) have a better record than the Giallorossi at the San Paolo.
Roma (3-4-2-1): Mirante; Mancini, Smalling, Juan Jesus; Karsdorp, Pellegrini, Veretout, Spinazzola; Pedro, Mkhitaryan; Dzeko
Suspended: none
Injured: Zaniolo, Pastore, Kumbulla

Napoli had an easy home game vs Rijeka in the midweek and Roma traveled to Cluj so hosts could be fresher. Despite that fatigue, the advantage home team should have more quality but Roma looks better at the moment. Both teams to score could be the most reasonable bet.

Daniel Garcia is originally from Basque Country, and as a kid who grew up just a few streets from Mendizorrotza Stadium, the choice of Deportivo Alavés as his favourite club is more than obvious. Because of his studies, he moved to Madrid where he graduated in Sports Journalism. Daniel plays football on the weekends, but that does not stop him from watching all La Liga matches. He believes that the outcome of a match can be predicted if all the parameters are analyzed well, including form of the players and weather conditions. Currently he is living in Belgrade, and is in love with a Serbian girl who works as a journalist at one of the famous Sport Channels in Serbia.
