Norwich host Blackburn at the Carrow Road (Norwich) in the 38th round of the Championship and the match kicks off at 3 pm (UK) on Saturday, March 20. Read our reasons for Norwich vs Blackburn prediction and betting tips.
Norwich set a club record of nine consecutive wins following a 2-0 triumph at Nottingham Forest on Tuesday and Blackburn are expected to be their next victims. The Canaries moved 10 points clear at the top of the Championship following early first-half goals from Teemu Pukki and Kieran Dowell and an immediate return to the Premier League is surely on the cards. Blackburn have only managed one win in 11 games since the start of February and the loss of Bradley Dack to another ACL injury is a major blow.
Goals from Teemu Pukki and Kieran Dowell in midweek ensured the Canaries moved 10 points clear of second-placed Watford at the summit of the Championship. A top-flight return is seeming increasingly inevitable, and many now rank this Norwich side as one of the best to ever grace the second division. The ease with which we overcame Forest was such that for much of the match it resembled a light training exercise – the gap in class between the sides was that great. Huge in fact.
Despite the praise Dowell received for his goal, Pukki's was even more impressive. The striker has now scored 11 goals in nine games for the Canaries as he continues his hot streak of goal-scoring form. They’ll have even more firepower against the Rovers as Emiliano Buendia, who had missed the game to attend the birth of his child, returns to the squad for Saturday's home match. Norwich are simply the best team in the league and should do well in the PL next season having learnt a lot of lessons in the top-flight last season.
Meanwhile, Tony Mowbray felt his side were 90 per cent there against Bristol, but let down by a lack of individuality at the top end of the pitch. Mowbray feels it is that which is separating his side from those at the top of the table, yet even with the injury to Bradley Dack, they were able to call upon a forward line that was lighting up the division early in the season. There wasn’t the same spark or fearlessness to Rovers’ play, this looking 0-0 from a long way off. Thirteen goals from 16 games in 2021 is a far cry from the near two goals a game they were averaging for the first third of the campaign.
What this all means is that it is now one win in 11 matches, and five points from the last 33 available for Rovers, ahead of a trip to runaway Championship leaders Norwich going in search of a 10th successive victory. So not the fixture that you’d particularly want next given the run of form Rovers are on. Expectations have dipped from top six, to top half, to beating last season's points tally. Now nine games out, there's little to suggest the table will be able to show any signs of progress.

Norwich meet Blackburn having previously won six of their last seven league matches against Rovers (D1), winning each of their last three in a row. They are also looking to complete a league double over the visitors after celebrating a 2-1 victory at Ewood Park in December.
Norwich are unbeaten in each of their last 16 home games in the Championship (W12 D4), conceding just six goals in the process, never more than once in a game and keeping 10 clean sheets in the process. On the other hand, none of Blackburn’s last 10 away league games have ended level, with Rovers winning three and losing seven times.
Norwich are red-hot favourites to take the maximum points here, so the BettingKick’s Norwich vs Blackburn prediction is: Norwich win

Tucker grew up in London, more precisely in West London. But, unlike many locals, he doesn’t like big and famous teams from that part of the city. Instead, ever since he was a kid, Tucker was passionate for lower divisions. This passion was born when his uncle from Reading took him to the local derby with Aldershot Town when he was 6 and since that moment football was running through his veins. He became a huge fan of the Royals for life, and whenever he could, he goes to Madejski Stadium to enjoy the game. Apart from being a job, his sports knowledge also becomes more than useful when he is betting live on high stakes which is also his passion.
