NORWICH VS CARDIFF MATCH ANALYSIS
A 2-1 win over Reading in midweek gave the in-form Norwich (W12, D4, L3) their best start to a Championship campaign after 19 rounds since the division’s rebrand. This was also their fourth game in the row where they won 2-1, which puts the leaders three points above second-placed Bournemouth. As for Cardiff, a 3-2 win against Birmingham on Wednesday keeps them in the play-off place hunt with five wins from their last six Championship games. They are 10th in the standings after picking up 29 points.
Championship leaders Norwich are safe at top of the table for the time being after a hard-fought win against the Royals. The Canaries are determined to return to the Premier League and will stick to their attacking style of play against the Bluebirds. Finland attacker Pukki looks unstoppable at the moment, and he is likely to prove a handful for the opposition defenders. Another positive Norwich can take from the midweek game was that no further players have been added to the club’s extensive injury list.
On Wednesday, Norwich returned to the top of the Championship table with a deserved win at Reading. Goals from Argentine midfielder Emiliano Buendia and Finland international Teemu Pukki secured the win for the Canaries at the Madejski Stadium, while talented young attacker Michael Olise scored the consolation goal for Reading. It was a well-deserved win and apart from the goal the Canaries didn't give anything away, as they were in control for most of the match.
As for their Saturday’s opponents, Cardiff made a slow start to their Championship campaign. The Bluebirds' form has been up and down since the start and they might still be suffering the effects of a hangover from last season's play-off defeat to Fulham. They have lost some of the momentum as the see-saw results continue and they hadn’t strung consecutive wins together this season until Round 14. They have now made it five wins out of six after the last-minute win against the Blues.
Cardiff City showed character in midweek, with the team coming from behind to beat Birmingham at St.Andrew’s. Robert Glatzel gave Cardiff an early lead, but Marc Roberts equalised. Sanchez's strike then put the visitor ahead and Neil Etheridge saved Glatzel's penalty to level again. However, Harry Wilson manage to find the equaliser from a tight angle before Morrison headed home for the win.

Norwich have won five of their last seven home league games (D2), while Cardiff have won their last two away league games, as many as they had in their first seven on the road this season (W2 D3 L2).
Byram, Hernandez, Idah, Krul, Mumba, and Quintilla are all out of contention through injuries for the hosts and Cardiff City, on the other hand, lost key striker Kieffer Moore to injury.

Tucker grew up in London, more precisely in West London. But, unlike many locals, he doesn’t like big and famous teams from that part of the city. Instead, ever since he was a kid, Tucker was passionate for lower divisions. This passion was born when his uncle from Reading took him to the local derby with Aldershot Town when he was 6 and since that moment football was running through his veins. He became a huge fan of the Royals for life, and whenever he could, he goes to Madejski Stadium to enjoy the game. Apart from being a job, his sports knowledge also becomes more than useful when he is betting live on high stakes which is also his passion.
