MATCH PREVIEW
After three rounds in the league Norwich are in the 13 place in the table with four points gathered from their first three matches. They won on the opening day away at Huddersfield (0-1), drew against Preston next (2-2) and topped it off with a defeat against Bournemouth (1-0) most recently. Derby, on the other hand, are bottom of the table in the 22nd place without any points against Readin, Luton and Blackburn so far.
MATCH ANALYSIS
The Canaries, with a core of the side that won the automatic promotion two seasons ago still intact, along with some new signings like striker Jordan Hugill, Spanish defender Xavi Quintilla and Tottenham midfielder Oliver Skipp, should be able to fight for the title again. . It is a long campaign, but the club is settled and manager Daniel Farke has really stamped his authority at the club, so without doubt, everything else but a return to the Premier League will be considered a disappointment.
Before the Bournemouth defeat Norwich was dealt a blow after midfielder Kieran Dowel was confirmed to miss most of the 2020 due to injury in his third appearance for the club after a summer move from Everton. The Cherries ended Norwich's little unbeaten run with a solitary goal, after the Canaries sought the equalizer but were unable to create a goal-scoring chance. Now they turn to the next game against the Rams which they should be able to win comfortably at home.
As for Derby, hey have been distracted last season by the shenanigans off the pitch, but former Dutch international Phillip Cocu managed to navigate through that by giving a group of talented youngsters a chance to prove themselves with the guidance of Wayne Rooney. They were considered one of the play-off candidates before the season started, but their negative run of three defeats on the trot at the beginning of the campaign doesn't bode well for their ambitions.
Meanwhile, the Rams have signed former Bournemouth and Liverpool winger Jordon Ibe on a two-year deal and Bobby Duncan, another former Red from Fiorentina, who will initially join their Under-23 squad. The things on the pitch are not looking good for Phillip Cocu's side after their latest trashing at home by Blackburn (4-0). They are still to score at home, while conceding 6 and their only goal of the season came away from home against Luton in a 2-1 defeat. They face a top side in Norwich on Saturday and would look to regroup to end their worst start to the season in 28 years.

Tucker grew up in London, more precisely in West London. But, unlike many locals, he doesn’t like big and famous teams from that part of the city. Instead, ever since he was a kid, Tucker was passionate for lower divisions. This passion was born when his uncle from Reading took him to the local derby with Aldershot Town when he was 6 and since that moment football was running through his veins. He became a huge fan of the Royals for life, and whenever he could, he goes to Madejski Stadium to enjoy the game. Apart from being a job, his sports knowledge also becomes more than useful when he is betting live on high stakes which is also his passion.
