Norwich host Luton at the Carrow Road (Norwich) in the 35th round of the Championship and the match kicks off at 3 pm (UK) on Saturday, March 6. Read our reasons for Norwich vs Luton prediction and betting tips.
The league-topping Norwich will come in hot into this match with a six-game winning streak and a 10-point cushion at the top after a minimal but precious 1-0 win against second-placed Brentford in 2nd place. The Canaries look dead on to win the league and are huge favourites against Luton on Saturday. As for the visitors, Luton secured back-to-back Championship wins after a grab-and-run win at Nottingham. The Hatters resisted the pressure and saw out a win which takes them up to 13th place in the table, four points above Forest and nine points behind sixth-placed Cardiff.
The teams who have caused Norwich the most problems are those who press them high and fast but doing that for 90 minutes against a team so comfortable with passing is very physically draining and can end up leaving them vulnerable at the back, where Buendia or Todd Cantwell can create for Pukki so quickly. Our opinion is that with the Canaries on course for promotion back to the Premier League after a one-year absence, the Hatters could be in for a tough time on Saturday afternoon.
On Wednesday, Emi Buendia's sweet strike dented second-placed Brentford's automatic promotion chances. The Canaries had little trouble seeing out victory at Carrow Road after the Argentine cut in from the right to find the bottom corner 26 minutes in. Norwich took control after going ahead and the hosts, with Grant Hanley outstanding in defence, did not need the cushion of a second goal, despite some strong late Brentford pressure, as the Canaries recorded a 22nd league win of the season.
On the other hand, Luton earned their sixth away victory of the season, all by a single goal margin, when beating Forest 1-0 at the City Ground in midweek. Their first victory away to Nottingham since March 1983 seemed unlikely during a one-sided first half. However, the Hatters, who came from two goals down to beat 3-2 Sheffield Wed last time out, made the most of Forest's wastefulness, who were on top until Tunnicliffe's winner gave them consecutive Championship victories for the first time since their opening two fixtures.
The visitors, as they have done so in five of their six triumphs on the road, kept the scores goalless until the hour mark, before netting what turned out to be the winner. Nevertheless, if we look at the type of performances throughout the season in terms of how the Hatters set up, to come to Nottingham and play four diamond two and really look to go after them, especially in the first 15 minutes of the game, it shows how much they are growing as a team and where they want to get to.

Norwich meet Luton having not previously hosted Luton in a league meeting since August 2006. Little unexpectedly, Luton have won each of their last three meetings with Norwich in all competitions, including a 3-1 Championship win in this season’s reverse fixture in October.
However, Teemu Pukki has been outstanding in recent weeks for the hosts, scoring in five successive fixtures and as much praise should be given to the team's defensive unit, which has conceded just two goals since the defeat at Swansea on February 5.
The Championship leaders are on a six-game winning run and we can’t see Luton doing anything about it to prevent them from recording the seventh win for the first time since April 2019.

Tucker grew up in London, more precisely in West London. But, unlike many locals, he doesn’t like big and famous teams from that part of the city. Instead, ever since he was a kid, Tucker was passionate for lower divisions. This passion was born when his uncle from Reading took him to the local derby with Aldershot Town when he was 6 and since that moment football was running through his veins. He became a huge fan of the Royals for life, and whenever he could, he goes to Madejski Stadium to enjoy the game. Apart from being a job, his sports knowledge also becomes more than useful when he is betting live on high stakes which is also his passion.
