Norwich host Rotherham at the Carrow Road (Norwich) in the 31st round of the Championship and the match kicks off at 3 pm (UK) on Saturday, February 20. Read our reasons for Norwich vs Rotherham prediction and betting tips.
Norwich are four points clear at the summit with a 4-1 win against Stoke and a 2-0 win at Coventry (Birmingham) after Brentford had suffered two unexpected defeats against Barnsley at home and away at QPR (2-1). However, every match is a must win for the Canaries from now on if they don’t want to lose their grip on promotion, no matter who the opposition is. As for Rotherham, the Millers are coming into this match on the back of two defeats – against Cardiff at home and Bournemouth away. They go into the weekend one point and one place above the relegation zone, with at least one game in hand over all of the teams around them.
The Canaries are determined to return to the Premier League immediately and will stick to their attacking style of play when they host Rotherham next. Finland attacker Pukki remains their key player at the moment, and he is likely to prove a handful for the visitors at the weekend. Norwich had briefly lost their momentum in the league, but it can change so quickly in the second-tier that they are coming into this match as leaders after being replaced there by Brentford, albeit only for a week.
On Wednesday night, goals from Finnish striker Teemu Pukki and star forward Emiliano Buendia sealed the deal for Daniel Farke's side. Farke has claimed that he is not interested in how the teams around Norwich get on and that his side must simply concentrate on getting three points themselves. They could well now be set for a run of wins, as after hosting Rotherham they face the bottom two – Birmingham and Wycombe.
Meanwhile, the Millers saw their three-game winning run on the road end at the Vitality Stadium as Philip Billing’s first-half goal proved decisive. But Warne's side more than matched the Cherries and could easily have left with a point. Richard Wood, Freddie Ladapo, and Ben Wiles all had good opportunities but despite a late barrage, the Millers made the lengthy trip home empty-handed.
The Millers returned home in the early hours of Thursday morning and barely 36 hours later they will be hitting the road again as they visit league leaders Norwich on Saturday. Having won just one of their first 10 Championship away games this season, Rotherham are now on a run of three consecutive victories on the road. However, the Millers have won just one of their last 18 fixtures against Norwich and have not won at Carrow Road since 1966.

Norwich meet Rotherham having won four of their last five league meetings with Rotherham (L1), winning each of the last three in a row. Moreover, the Millers have only recorded a solitary win against the hosts, compared to Norwich’s 7 in their last 15 meetings (D7).
Norwich are unbeaten in their last 13 home league games (W9 D4), while Rotherham have picked up just one point from their eight Championship games against the current top-six this season (D1 L7). The most potent Championship duo of Teemu Pukki and Emiliano Buendía could prove too much for the Millers.

Tucker grew up in London, more precisely in West London. But, unlike many locals, he doesn’t like big and famous teams from that part of the city. Instead, ever since he was a kid, Tucker was passionate for lower divisions. This passion was born when his uncle from Reading took him to the local derby with Aldershot Town when he was 6 and since that moment football was running through his veins. He became a huge fan of the Royals for life, and whenever he could, he goes to Madejski Stadium to enjoy the game. Apart from being a job, his sports knowledge also becomes more than useful when he is betting live on high stakes which is also his passion.
