Norwich host Stoke at the Carrow Road (Norwich) in the 29th round of the Championship and the match kicks off at 3 pm (UK) on Saturday, February 13. Read our reasons for Norwich vs Stoke prediction and betting tips.
Norwich no longer remain top of the league, after two disappointing goalless draws on the trot at the Carrow Road against Middlesbrough and Millwall, which were followed by a 2-0 defeat at Swansea last weekend. It was a huge six-pointer win for the Swans who are now locked with Norwich and Brentford in an automatic promotion race. As for Stoke, they come into this match looking to end a ten-game run without a win (D6, L4) in all competitions. They sit three places below the play-off berth in 9th and after a goalless draw against Reading at the Bet365 Stadium and will be looking to finally pick up those elusive three points against now second-placed Norwich next.
The Canaries are determined to return to the Premier League immediately and will stick to their attacking style of play when they welcome the Potters next. Finland attacker Pukki remains their key player at the moment, and he is likely to prove a handful for the hosts on Saturday. The Canaries lost their momentum in the league which can change so quickly in the second-tier and are coming into this match leapfrogged by Brentford at the summit.
Daniel Farke's team would have gone seven points clear at the top of the table with victory, but instead are left looking over their shoulders at Swansea, who climb back into the automatic promotion places and have a game in hand. This meeting of two sides who like to play possession football promised much and did not disappoint, but the Canaries were left to rue the missed chances as they are now without a goal and a win in three league games
One positive for Stoke is the return of captain Ryan Shawcross to their starting XI after he had spent much of the past 18 months recovering from injuries. The Potters have been busy in this transfer window as they signed wingers - Wales international Rabbi Matondo from Schalke 04 on loan and D'Margio Wright-Phillips, son of Shaun and Ian Wright's grandson from Man City in hope of adding more goals and assists. However, since losing both Lee Gregory and top scorer Tyrese Campbell with knee problems, the Potters have struggled to find the back of a net.
Against Reading, Stoke were able to keep the Championship's third-highest goalscorer Lucas Joao quiet as the game ended goalless, but their winless run stretched to 10 matches after a dour stalemate with promotion hopefuls at Bet365 Stadium. The Potters last tasted a league victory against Blackburn on 19 December but have just about remained in the play-off chase and the draw leaves the Potters six points off the play-off places in ninth.

Norwich meet Stoke trailing by two wins (6) against visitors (8) in their last 20 meetings overall but are looking to complete a league double over Stoke for the first time since the 1996/97 season, with a 3-2 win at Stoke in the reverse fixture on November 24.
Norwich have failed to score in their last three league matches, attempting 40 shots without success across these matches. Their last five matches averaged under 2.5 goals and have seen only one team on the scoresheet.
Stoke, on the other hand, have drawn each of their last six away league games, but are looking to win consecutive away league games against Norwich for the first time, winning last here in October 2018.

Tucker grew up in London, more precisely in West London. But, unlike many locals, he doesn’t like big and famous teams from that part of the city. Instead, ever since he was a kid, Tucker was passionate for lower divisions. This passion was born when his uncle from Reading took him to the local derby with Aldershot Town when he was 6 and since that moment football was running through his veins. He became a huge fan of the Royals for life, and whenever he could, he goes to Madejski Stadium to enjoy the game. Apart from being a job, his sports knowledge also becomes more than useful when he is betting live on high stakes which is also his passion.
