Olympiakos will host Marseille in Karaiskaki Stadium on Wednesday night in a very important match of the opening round of the UEFA Champions League group stage.
Olympiakos are unbeaten so far this season but will face several uphill battles in Europe over the next few months. The Greek giants are underdogs in their group and will look to prove a point in the Champions League this year. The Greek giants booked their place in the group stages by beating Omonia in the two-legged tie and certainly, they had luck with the draw this time, playing with a modest side from Cyprus to reach the next level of this elite competition.

Individual quality is there, offensive line with Payet, and Thauvin is creative enough to feed the teammates but the defense must be more stable if they want success in the new season. Marseille is without a clean sheet in five games.
Marseille have struggled in front of goal so far this season. In their opening seven matches, they have scored two or more in just two matches. Dimitri Payet's suspension in the Ligue 1 means that the enigmatic forward is sure to play a part in Marseille's Champions League campaign. The French outfit does not have any notable absences going into this game.
