Having lost the Ligue 1 championship to Lille last season, Paris Saint-Germain is hoping to make a return and reclaim the trophy. After spending a lot of money and acquiring numerous top-tier players, all eyes are on Paris Saint-Germain. Achraf Hakimi, Real Madrid's defender Sergio Ramos, and, on top of that, Lionel Messi, the all-time leading scorer in La Liga and Barcelona. PSG has sorts of big players in its roster besides, Mbappe and Neymar are some of them.
With the aid of Hakimi's equalizer and Icardi's winning goal in the 19th and 21st minutes, PSG beat Troyes 2-1 in their opening game of the season. It has not yet been determined whether or not the Argentine striker will be available for selection against Strasbourg. However, there are plenty of strong players available to compete excellently and win against Strasbourg.
According to the history of their meetings, PSG has never gotten weary of finding the net against Strasbourg. Paris Saint-Germain has won seven of the past ten head-to-head matches while drawing two and losing one. PSG has never lost on their home field, and this suggests that Strasbourg is a strong favorite for the visitors. It's possible that the outcome of the next match at Parc des Princes will be the same.
When it comes to the preseason, PSG did not lose a single match, with the exception of a 2-2 tie against Chambly Oise. Strasbourg had two defeats, drew a 1-1 draw with Young Boys, and claimed two victories. Strasbourg suffered a 2-0 defeat at home to Angers in their opening encounter of this new season. PSG will just be flexing their muscles in preparation for Strasbourg since it will be difficult for them to retaliate in such bad form right now.
It is with no doubt that PSG will win but, the issue is how many goals will Strasbourg allow them to score. PSG is strong in every area of the team: the forwards, the midfielders, and the defense are all well-balanced and tight. In order to avoid more embarrassment for his team, Julien Stephan, the manager of Strasbourg, has a lot of work to do.

PSG has their focus set on reclaiming the league title, so when it comes to Strasbourg, a team they are accustomed to defeating is not a huge issue. However, we anticipate a high number of goals in this match because even PSG is playing at home, which is an extra advantage. Bettingkick’s prediction for this game PSG vs. Strasbourg is over 2.5 goals

Daniel Garcia is originally from Basque Country, and as a kid who grew up just a few streets from Mendizorrotza Stadium, the choice of Deportivo Alavés as his favourite club is more than obvious. Because of his studies, he moved to Madrid where he graduated in Sports Journalism. Daniel plays football on the weekends, but that does not stop him from watching all La Liga matches. He believes that the outcome of a match can be predicted if all the parameters are analyzed well, including form of the players and weather conditions. Currently he is living in Belgrade, and is in love with a Serbian girl who works as a journalist at one of the famous Sport Channels in Serbia.
