Rangers will be looking to cement the top position in Group D when they welcome Standard Liege at Ibrox on Thursday.
Steven Gerrard and his Rangers have a season to remember. Ex Liverpool legend was once again pleased with the mentality and professionalism shown by his Rangers side in the 4-0 victory over Falkirk in the Scottish League Cup on Sunday. It was another performance in this season to be proud of with a glimpse of excitement for the future of the club, as they gave 18-year-old Ciaran Dickson and 16-year-old Leon King their senior debuts. Rangers coach is likely to rotate his side with bringing the best team for the Europa League with hopes of confirming their qualification for the knockout stages. A win for the Gers will guarantee their progression from the group stages in back-to-back seasons for the first time since the 2005-06 Champions League and 2006-07 UEFA Cup.
Rangers defender Filip Helander is unavailable as he has tested positive for coronavirus. Midfielders Joe Aribo and Ryan Jack, who have missed the previous two matches, remain doubtful after suffering knocks. Attackers Alfredo Morelos and Ryan Kent set to replace Jermain Defoe and Cedric Itten.
Rangers (4-3-3): McGregor; Tavernier, Goldson, Balogun, Barisic; Kamara, Davies, Arfield; Hagi, Morelos, Kent
Standard, on the other hand, regained a much-needed confidence thanks to a 2-1 win over Lech Poznan in the dying moments of the match and after a big turn around but they will have a much tougher task against the team that stopped Benfica. In their previous game, Standard Liège drew 0-0 in the First Division A tie and big derby with RSC Anderlecht. Philippe Montanier's Standard Liège have slotted home a total of 7 times throughout their latest 6 matches and they have trouble creating and converting the chances into goals.
Liege striker Obbi Oulare is suspended as he was shown a red card against Lech Poznan. As a result, Maxime Lestienne and Michel Ange Balikwisha are likely to start together upfront. Gojko Cimirot is set to play alongside Nicolas Raskin and Samuel Bastien in midfield.
Standard Liege (5-3-2): Bodart; Fai, Dussenne, Bokadi, Laifis, Gavory; Raskin, Cimirot, Bastian; Lestienne, Balikwisha

Rangers is a big favorite to win the next game after some brilliant football that they played from the start of the season. Both performances against Benfica suggest that this Rangers team is more than capable to beat Celtic in the domestic league in the long run and also make some impact in Europe. The home win looks like a very good betting option.

Daniel Garcia is originally from Basque Country, and as a kid who grew up just a few streets from Mendizorrotza Stadium, the choice of Deportivo Alavés as his favourite club is more than obvious. Because of his studies, he moved to Madrid where he graduated in Sports Journalism. Daniel plays football on the weekends, but that does not stop him from watching all La Liga matches. He believes that the outcome of a match can be predicted if all the parameters are analyzed well, including form of the players and weather conditions. Currently he is living in Belgrade, and is in love with a Serbian girl who works as a journalist at one of the famous Sport Channels in Serbia.
