Sassuolo will try to continue with the great scoring run at the start of the Seria A when Torino visits them on Friday.
Sassuolo is one of the positive surprises in the new season, after four matches they are second in the standings with 10 points, they scored 13 goals, which is second-best in Seria A and coach De Zerbi must be proud of how his footballers made a turn around in the last game in Bologna. That was an extraordinary comeback from 3-1 down to win 4-3 in just 13 minutes, without Jeremie Boga, Filippo Romagna, Jeremy Toljan, Rogerio, and Nicolas Schiappacasse.
It was Bologna who broke the deadlock, Rodrigo Palacio rolled across a no-look pass for Roberto Soriano to sweep home. Berardi gets the equalizer when allowed too much time and space on the edge of the area to pick his spot, curling left-footed into the far bottom corner. Bologna restored their lead, Soriano completed a give-and-go with Palacio to thread through for Mattias Svanberg, who hit the ball into the far bottom corner with the inside of the boot.
Manuel Locatelli made a huge mistake trying to dribble his way out of defense, robbed by Riccardo Orsolini who fired in with the aid of a deflection. Sassuolo fought back quickly and got it to 3-2 with Djuricic completing a give and go with Caputo to score from the tightest of angles. The equalizer came after Palacio’s shinned clearance on set play accidentally turned into an assist that Caputo nodded in at the back post, anticipating Aaron Hickey. The momentum was clearly with the Sassuolo and they completed the turnaround when Tomiyasu anticipated a low ball rolled across for Caputo, bundling it over the line from six yards. Three goals in 13 minutes, for the place on the table better than Atalanta and Juventus.
Torino can't be happy with the start of the new season. Last place on the table, with all three losses, zero points, and many problems in all departments. It is hard to find new reasons for bad performances but the the build-up to the 3-2 loss vs Cagliari was overshadowed by COVID-19, as they confirmed another new case just hours before kick-off, so between injuries and illness missed Simone Zaza, Armando Izzo, and Daniele Baselli.
Torino started as they wanted, within three minutes, Sasa Lukic had gone clear on goal and was brought down by Alessio Cragno for a penalty. Andrea Belotti converted by sending the goalkeeper the wrong way to put Toro in front. Cagliari immediately responded, the equalizer came from a corner, pulled back from the by-line, and taking a couple of ricochets for Joao Pedro to eventually slide in from four yards.
Cagliari turned it around completely within five minutes, Nahitan Nandez burst down the right, rolled it across, and a failed Lyanco interception allowed Simeone time to control, turn and fire into the top corner from 12 yards. Belotti completed his brace and got Torino level at the dawn of the second half, he waited and thumped the ball in from a tight angle at the back post on the half-volley. Cagliari restored their advantage when Sirigu fumbled a low Nandez cross, allowing Simeone to tap in the loose ball. With the last kick of the game, Belotti thought he’d completed a hat-trick and made it 3-3 with a trademark bicycle-move at the back post, but Cragno performed a crucial save.

Sassuolo is in fine form, scoring at ease and with great team chemistry. On the other side, Torino is the opposite and very prone to mistakes that team as Sassuolo easily converts into goals. Both teams to score and over 2,5 goals are out preferable bets but also Sassuolo is very close to winning again.

Daniel Garcia is originally from Basque Country, and as a kid who grew up just a few streets from Mendizorrotza Stadium, the choice of Deportivo Alavés as his favourite club is more than obvious. Because of his studies, he moved to Madrid where he graduated in Sports Journalism. Daniel plays football on the weekends, but that does not stop him from watching all La Liga matches. He believes that the outcome of a match can be predicted if all the parameters are analyzed well, including form of the players and weather conditions. Currently he is living in Belgrade, and is in love with a Serbian girl who works as a journalist at one of the famous Sport Channels in Serbia.
