SHEFFIELD UTD VS EVERTON MATCH ANALYSIS
Bottom-fodders Sheffield, who are still without a win after 14 weeks in the Premier League (D2, L12), still remain top relegation candidates, after picking up their second point of the campaign with a 1-1 draw against Brighton at the AMEX Stadium. Their Saturday’s opponents Everton have climbed into 4th with 26 points after they’ve recorded their third consecutive league win, this time against Arsenal at home(2-1).
The Blades have had a really nightmarish start. They have set all sorts of negative records this season and it has become painfully obvious that, instead of repeating the last year's campaign, their only objective for 2020/21 will be to ensure they stay up. Unfortunately, things are looking grim for the Blades at the moment. They have now extended their barren run without a win at home to 11 games after sharing the points with the Seagulls last weekend.
On Sunday, Sheffield’s midfielder Lundstram saw a straight red (40’) after the referee had consulted his pitchside monitor, but Jayden Bogle gave the Blades a lead against the run of play (63’). The hosts had Wilder's side pinned back inside their own half for the majority of the contest but needed Danny Welbeck's late strike to deny the 10-man Blades a first league win of the season.
As for Everton, after defeating three top-four hopefuls in a row – Chelsea (1-0), Leicester (0-2), and Arsenal (2-1) – they visit a side rooted to the foot of the table and are looking for their fourth consecutive league win as they remain unbeaten in their last four games (W3, D1). They are 5 points from their neighbors Liverpool, who top the league, and can stay in the top four for Christmas after a while.
In their most recent Premier League match, the Toffees took the lead after 22 minutes through Holding’s deflected shot, but Arsenal were level 10 minutes before the break when Nicolas Pepe scored from the spot. However, the Gunners conceded again on the stroke of half-time when Yerry Mina headed home from a corner. The Gunners were without Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, but with Arsenal’s lack of urgency on the night, it is doubtful he would have been of any help against a well-organized Everton side.

The Blades have won just two points from 14 Premier League games this season - the lowest ever total by an English top-flight side at this stage of a campaign and remain six points adrift of safety, but Wilder can take plenty of positives from his team's gutsy display against Brighton. However, they are huge 16 points short of 18 points which they had picked up at this time last season.
Everton, on the other hand, is pushing hard for the top-six with Ancelotti at the helm. The winning streak coincides with the return of Richarlison to the team and with the league’s joint-second top-scorer (11) Dominic Calvert-Lewing in the top, Everton should feel confident ahead of the weekend.

Tucker grew up in London, more precisely in West London. But, unlike many locals, he doesn’t like big and famous teams from that part of the city. Instead, ever since he was a kid, Tucker was passionate for lower divisions. This passion was born when his uncle from Reading took him to the local derby with Aldershot Town when he was 6 and since that moment football was running through his veins. He became a huge fan of the Royals for life, and whenever he could, he goes to Madejski Stadium to enjoy the game. Apart from being a job, his sports knowledge also becomes more than useful when he is betting live on high stakes which is also his passion.
