Real Sociedad will be looking to make it back on the track after the loss against Valencia in La Liga when they welcome Getafe number one position so far on the table to on Saturday night.
Sociedad actually started their La Liga season with back-to-back draws, sharing the points with Real Valladolid on the opening weekend of the campaign before playing out a goalless draw with Real Madrid on September 20. Imanol Alguacil's side put their first three points on the board in impressive fashion on Saturday, though, as they ran out 3-0 winners at Elche courtesy of goals from Portu, Adnan Januzaj, and Roberto Lopez. But in the end, they lost against Valencia with 0-1. The Basque side finished sixth in La Liga last season, which was enough for a spot in the group stages of the Europa League, but they were 14 points off fourth-place Sevilla in Spain's top flight. Sociedad will certainly be looking to push closer to the Champions League spots this season, and will hope that David Silva can play a leading role in their charge, having arrived on a free transfer from Manchester City.
Getafe have made an encouraging start to their 2020-21 La Liga campaign, opening with a 1-0 victory over Osasuna on September 19 before drawing 0-0 at Alaves on Saturday afternoon. And an amazing home win on Real Betis. A return of seven points from three matches at this stage is far from disappointing, and the capital outfit will be eyeing another three points when they go away on Real Sociedad for what should be an entertaining affair. Jose Bordalas's side finished eighth in La Liga last season, missing out on a spot in the Europa League by two points, which was disappointing considering that they claimed fifth in 2018-19. Getafe actually reached the last-16 stage of last season's Europa League but will have the chance to fully concentrate on La Liga this term due to their lack of European involvement in 2020-21.

Good match, hard on both sides. There is not an awful lot between these two sides when it comes to quality. Neither manager would be too disappointed with a share of the spoils. But our prediction is a win for an away team, with under 1.5 goals.

Daniel Garcia is originally from Basque Country, and as a kid who grew up just a few streets from Mendizorrotza Stadium, the choice of Deportivo Alavés as his favourite club is more than obvious. Because of his studies, he moved to Madrid where he graduated in Sports Journalism. Daniel plays football on the weekends, but that does not stop him from watching all La Liga matches. He believes that the outcome of a match can be predicted if all the parameters are analyzed well, including form of the players and weather conditions. Currently he is living in Belgrade, and is in love with a Serbian girl who works as a journalist at one of the famous Sport Channels in Serbia.
