Spain (4-3-3) faces Ukraine (4-1-4-1) at the Santiago Bernabeu in Madrid in the second round of the UEFA Nations League on Sunday 06 September 2020 at 20:45.
Spain is one of the favorite teams to pass this group stage without making to much effort, just like Germany, who should be their toughest opponent. This Sunday evening they will face Ukraine, who surely won't fly in Spain to get beaten so easily.
Spain knows that, specially their coach, Luis Enrique, who had a good experience as Barcelona's coach in the past, where he won even the Champions League in 2015. His fortune is that he has scorers in all the departments of the pitch, just like legendary Real Madrid's captain and defender Sergio Ramos (4 goals in the qualification matches 2019/20), who, no matter of the position where he plays, has proved in his career that he is a goal machine. In midfield they have Bayern Munchen's midfielder Thiago Alcantara (3 goals and 4 assists in the qualification matches 2019/20), who may not score that much, but he is very good to serve good assists to his teammates.
Last but not least, in forward, they have Atletico Madrid's Alvaro Morata (4 goals in the qualification matches 2019/20), who could be Ukraine's main problem in the offensive phases, so the defenders should better come prepared and try to stop his dangerous attempts.
As we take a look to the away team, we have Ukraine, who will travel in the capital city of Spain, with aim to win this hard game. Their coach, legendary former Ukrain forward, Andriy Shevchenko, belives that his players can win this game. He will motivate them as better as he can, since he knows how worth is this game, and the victory in it too.
Shechenko believes in all of his players, starting from the duo in midfield composed by, Dynamo Kyiv midfielder Viktor Tsygankov (3 goals and 1 assist in the qualification matches 2019/20) who made fall in love al lot of European clubs thanks to his skills, and his partner, Atalanta's midfielder Ruslan Malynovskyi (3 goals and 3 assists in the qualification matches 2019/20), who has proved how much deadly he can be with his long distance shoots. Last but not least, the forward Roman Yaremchuk (4 goal and 1 assist in the qualification matches 2019/20) who can be very dangerous for Spain's defenders, who should better keep their eyes on him.
These two teams have faced each other 5 times in a official match in their history. This will be their 6th match. Spain is leading with 4 victories, instead of Ukraine that has never won. There is also one draw. Their last match ended with a victory for Spain (Ukraine 0-1 Spain).

This match will be full of goal chances. Since this competition has just started, both teams will spend most of their time by attacking and trying to score, so that they can bring back home 3 important points and continue their road.
After all I said about these two teams and the match, I would rather think that Spain will win this match.
My final Spain vs Ukraine Prediction is Spain to win.

Daniel Garcia is originally from Basque Country, and as a kid who grew up just a few streets from Mendizorrotza Stadium, the choice of Deportivo Alavés as his favourite club is more than obvious. Because of his studies, he moved to Madrid where he graduated in Sports Journalism. Daniel plays football on the weekends, but that does not stop him from watching all La Liga matches. He believes that the outcome of a match can be predicted if all the parameters are analyzed well, including form of the players and weather conditions. Currently he is living in Belgrade, and is in love with a Serbian girl who works as a journalist at one of the famous Sport Channels in Serbia.
