Swansea host Blackburn at Liberty Stadium (Swansea) in the 9th round of the Championship on Saturday, October 31 and the match kicks off at 3pm (UK).
MATCH PREVIEW
Swansea have picked up 15 points from their first 8 league fixtures which is enough for the 3rd place in the table. They lost just once this season - to Huddersfield at home (1-2) in the 5th round – and are on another little unbeaten run of three games (W1-D2). They face Blackburn next as they are looking to get some breathing space at the top.
As for the Rovers, after 8 rounds in the league Blackburn are in the 12th place in the table, having picked up 10 points after their latest home defeat (2-4) to leaders Reading (W3-D1-L4). They are blowing hot and cold at the start of the season, but are one the more entertaining sides to watch.
MATCH ANALYSIS
Swansea looked solid defensively in the early days of the season as they have conceded only once after four weeks. However, they conceded in the next three games as they lost to Huddersfield and drew 1-1 with Coventry and Bristol. With a win against Stoke (2-0) they are back to the winning ways which is a huge positive for Steve Cooper's side if they want to repeat the last season's promotion push.
The Swans comfortably beat Stoke City to move up to second place, albeit briefly, in the Championship. Swansea and Stoke started the evening in sixth and eighth place respectively - each on 12 points from seven games - but they looked poles apart throughout this match, which is a credit to manager Steve Cooper, who has done brilliantly in his first managerial job despite limited resources and a small squad.
As for their rivals on Saturday, the Rovers have now scored 18 goals in their eight Championship games this season - the most any side has managed so far. Apart from Tyrhys Dolan, a young prospects from their famed academy, they now have another teenage sensation in Harvey Elliot, who was signed from Liverpool on a season loan and who already has a goal and two assists to his name after two rounds.
In midweek, Reading opened up a seven-point gap at the top of the Championship after beating free-scoring Rovers in an exciting match at Ewood Park. Blackburn defence was too exposed against the Royals, but on a more positive note, Armstrong's ninth league goal of the season and second against Reading, moved him to the top of the Championship's goal-scoring charts.

These two sides have met seven times so far with both teams winning twice.
However, their last three games ended without a winner, but both teams managed to score in all of those meetings. Out of seven, only one match ended without both teams scoring.
They have averaged 3.86 goals in their head-to-head matches.
A 2-0 win over Stoke in midweek continued Swansea City’s strong start to the Championship campaign as they scored in both halves for the first time this season. That’s little surprise though considering their average of just 1.25 goals scored per league game so far.
Blackburn Rovers conceded the opener for the third time across their last four matches as they fell to a 4-2 defeat in midweek. However, ahead of this round they the division’s top scorers, after netting an average of 2.25 goals per game.
My prediction for this match is. Over 2.5 goals

Wyatt grew up in the suburbs of London and he is a big Chelsea fan. As a young boy, he found his love for football, which became an obsession, but when he tried playing it he soon realized that he just wasn't talented enough. Bearing that in mind, Wyatt decided to learn everything there is to know about all the teams and players, with special focus on Premier League and Championship . Wyatt has a big affection for Championship and he is well versed in all the teams and knows their advantages and weak spots very well. He is an economist, and being one makes him good with numbers and also good with the odds. His specialty are BTTS matches.
