1 - 2
Swansea host Huddersfield in the 5th round of the Championship at Liberty Stadium (Swansea) on Saturday, October 17 and the match kicks off at 3pm (UK).
MATCH PREVIEW
Swansea have picked up ten points from their first four league fixtures which is enough for the 4th place in the table. They won at Preston on the opening day (0-1) then followed it with a goalless draw against Birmingham at home. More recently they defeated Wycombe away (0-2) in the third week and Millwall at home (2-1) before the international break. The visitors are in the 19th place in the table with two defeats from first two games against Norwich (0-1) and Brentford (3-0), but have picked up pace recently with a win against Notts Forest (1-0) and a 1-1 draw with Rotherham.
MATCH ANALYSIS
Swansea City's impressive start to the campaign continued as goals from Jake Bidwell and Ben Cabango saw them beat Millwall 2-1 at home in the last Championship round. Swansea look solid defensively in the early days of the season as they have conceded only once this season, which will be a huge positive for Steve Cooper's side if they want to repeat the last season's promotion push. For the Swans, manager Steve Cooper has done brilliantly in his first managerial job despite limited resources and a small squad.
Swansea have been hard to break down so far and with the rumored addition of young Manchester City centre-back Joel Latibeaudiere their defense might be sorted if they lose Joe Rodon to Spurs. The lack of squad depth is what they must address if they want to be in the mix for the play-offs again. Since losing Brewster they haven't found a partner in attack for Andre Ayew, and it is probably the only thing they need to resemble a complete package.
As for Huddersfield, they were highly ineffective in their first two league games and never looked like creating anything, when and how much they would concede being the only question. However, they have now had a few more weeks to accommodate to the new manager's ways and to respond after their disappointing start to the season. The club put their trust in Carlos Corberan, but it will take some time for the players to get familiar with what is asked from them.
After Terriers' first victory under Spanish head coach against Nottingham Forest they picked put a point from their visit to Rotherham after A 96th-minute equaliser saw Huddersfield rescue a dramatic late point against their Yorkshire rivals. It was a really good performance, they created chances and probably deserved to win the game. Corberan said afterwards that he was very pleased withthe personality they showed from the first moment. If they put up such performances on a regular bases the results will come as well.

As for some stats and facts, these two teams have been involved in 10 matches since 2005. The Terriers have 4 wins to Swans' 3 but the last came in November 2007. Since then Swansea are unbeaten in their head-to-heads from season 2017/2018 and 2019/2020 respectively (W2-D2). Both teams averaged 1.30 goals in their 10 matches, but it nevertheless feels like the momentum is on the Swansea as they head into this game.

Wyatt grew up in the suburbs of London and he is a big Chelsea fan. As a young boy, he found his love for football, which became an obsession, but when he tried playing it he soon realized that he just wasn't talented enough. Bearing that in mind, Wyatt decided to learn everything there is to know about all the teams and players, with special focus on Premier League and Championship . Wyatt has a big affection for Championship and he is well versed in all the teams and knows their advantages and weak spots very well. He is an economist, and being one makes him good with numbers and also good with the odds. His specialty are BTTS matches.
