Villareal will be looking to build on Saturday's encouraging result against Celta Vigo when they continue their 2020-21 La Liga campaign at home to Granada on Wednesday night.
Villarreal, will enter the match off the back of a 4-1 win over Zamora in the second round of the Copa del Rey on Tuesday, and 0-4 win against Celta Vigo on away trip. Unai Emery made the changes for the contest but his team were still far too strong for the Segunda Division B side. The Yellow Submarine recorded a 2-1 victory over Levante in the league last weekend, meanwhile, to move onto 32 points for the season, which has left them in the fourth position in the table.
Los Granadinos suffered three defeats in the previous four league fixtures, and, no doubt, they would be happy with one point from the postponed clash. Jesus Vallejo is banned for the match, while Neyder Lozano remains in the recovery room. At the last match, Granada beat Osasuna n the home field 2-0. Which brings them a little satisfaction moving forward, but will it be enough? El Grana remain seventh in Spain's top flight, having picked up 27 points from their 18 matches, but the fact that they have already lost seven times this season is a concern for a team chasing a European finish.
The Red and Whites, who finished seventh in La Liga last term, have a busy period ahead as they will continue their Copa del Rey challenge against Malaga on January 15, while Martinez's team will take on Napoli in the knockout round of the Europa League towards the end of next month.

Villareal have been the near draw specialists in recent weeks, and we fancy the visitors to claim another point here. Granada have lost three of their last five in the league and will be wary of suffering another defeat, which could mean that Wednesday's match is a good battle for them. Villareal is not an easy contender and probably at this time around even stronger than Granada, but lets predict 0-1 for Granada after 90 minutes.
Our final Villarreal vs Granada Prediction is Under 2.5 goals.

Daniel Garcia is originally from Basque Country, and as a kid who grew up just a few streets from Mendizorrotza Stadium, the choice of Deportivo Alavés as his favourite club is more than obvious. Because of his studies, he moved to Madrid where he graduated in Sports Journalism. Daniel plays football on the weekends, but that does not stop him from watching all La Liga matches. He believes that the outcome of a match can be predicted if all the parameters are analyzed well, including form of the players and weather conditions. Currently he is living in Belgrade, and is in love with a Serbian girl who works as a journalist at one of the famous Sport Channels in Serbia.
