The game kicks off at 6pm (UK), when Watford host Manchester City on Tuesday 21 July, at the Vicarage Road.
Watford missed the opportunity to widen the gap between them and other teams fighting the relegation, namely, Bournemouth and Aston Villa, with their loss against West Ham on Friday (3:1). The result against West Ham was a huge blow for Watford and their hopes to survive in the top divison. Before the game, the Hornets were in a fine form, after pickin up back-to-back wins against Norwich and Newcastle, but all the good work they did in those two games was annulled by a terrible display in the first half against the Hammers, in wich they were three goals behind after 36 minutes.
The Hornets will be without the long-term injured Gerard Deulofeu, Daryl Janmaat and Isaac Success. They lost 7 of their last 11 Premier League games, but their form at home is decent with only one defeat in the last five home PL games (W3,D1,L1). Mikel Arteta exposed Manchester City's flaws on Saturday, first and foremost, their defensive deficiencies. Tucker grew up in London, more precisely in West London. But, unlike many locals, he doesn’t like big and famous teams from that part of the city.
