West Bromwich Albion and Leicester return to Premier League action on Sunday, September 13 at the Hawthorns and the match kicks off at 2pm (UK).
After being absent since 2018, West Brom are back in the Premier League after they finished second in the Championship. They finished just two points above Brentford and Fulham, but they deservedly went up automatically, even though they stuttered late in the season and showed a fair bit of nervousness in their run-in. However, they are here to write another chapter in their club's books and will not be dismissed that easily.
Their first opponents, Leicester, went through the similar motions at the late stage of their campaign as well, when they strung a series of bad results towards the end, which cost them the Champions league berth. This season they will again try to break into top four, but this time they may find it even more challenging. WEST BROM VS LEICESTER MATCH ANALYSIS
The apparent dip in form at the end of the last campaign has probably subdued the feel-good factor among the West Brom's fans and after the celebrations, the reality that they’ll have to overcome the odds to finish above the dotted red line in 2020/21, has begun to sink in. The team needs reshaping to be able to step up to the Premier League challenge, and it's questionable how much backing Slaven Bilic will receive.
If The Baggies can add a striker, a new center-back, and another attacking midfielder, then they should feel they did enough to secure survival. As it seems at the moment, Pereira, The Brazilian will be the creative force, and hopefully, the defense with Ajayi in its center will find much needed consistency.
The Foxes have a good enough team that can get much better. Poor form in the second half of the season, when they won only four of their last 17 league matches and went out of both domestic cups – was down to various reasons, namely squad depth and a lack of fighting spirit when it mattered most. When Leicester are at their best, they are unplayable, but when their confidence goes out of the window, they too easily crackle.
The biggest task for Rogers will be to find consistency both in individual and team performances. Vardy is still one of the most lethal strikers in the PL regardless, and it will be a disappointment if Maddison don't bounce back after an underwhelming second half of the season. It's imperative that players like Harvey Barnes, Ayoze Perez, or Demarai Gray step up if The Foxes want more fruitful season.

Clever additions in problem areas will certainly help the Baggies, but Bilić must first and foremost tweak the tactics sufficiently in order to keep them solid at the back if they want to have a chance. Otherwise, a return trip down may come too soon.
Leicester are plagued with injuries and a suspension of Jonny Evans at the back, and if they get over the starting line without further blows to their confidence, they have improved chances of keeping that morale, especially if they add another centre-back and a replacement for Ben Chilwell.
