West Brom eased past Harrogate with an emphatic win against the League Two side. Slaven Bilic reshuffled the team and made ten changes to the starting eleven to the side that lined up against Leicester in their 3-0 home defeat on their Premier League return and gave three players their debuts.West Brom avoided an upset with a routine win and the visitors were undone by three moments of brilliance from the Premier League newcomers.
However, West Brom suffered a 5-2 defeat to Everton on Saturday as Gibbs and manager Slaven Bilic were both shown red cards just before the interval.The Baggies will have to pick themselves up before Tuesday, and giving the strength of the opponent, Bilic may not temper with the team as much as he did against Harrogate.
This is Brentford's third time in four years that they have reached the last 32 of the Carabao Cup. They did so by beating the Saints at St. Mary's Stadium with goals from Christian Norgaard and Josh Dasilva in the first-half. Meanwhile, the Bees won their first Championship game at their fantastic, albeit empty, new Community Stadium, against Huddersfield. It was a comfortable 3-0 win and it sets them up nicely before their cup clash against West Brom.
These two sides are well familiar with each other having battled for the promotion last season. Brentford took four points from their two last season's fixtures, but West Brom eventually earned automatic promotion while the Bees lost in the play-off finals. Brentford's last two trips to West Bromwich finished in 1-1 draws and the third time might be a charm for them.

Tucker grew up in London, more precisely in West London. But, unlike many locals, he doesn’t like big and famous teams from that part of the city.
