WEST HAM VS MAN UTD MATCH ANALYSIS
The Hammers are in 5th place with 17 points after ten weeks (W5-D2-L3). They have been producing fine displays in the Premier League recently, with only one defeat in their last eight fixtures. They went on the international break on a positive note after defeating Fulham (1-0) at home, then followed it with two wins - against Sheffield (1-0) and Aston Villa (2-1) last weekend. As for Man Utd, they are 9th in the standings with 16 points from their respective fixtures, albeit with a game in hand. They suffered a home defeat to top-four rivals Arsenal (0-1) four rounds ago, but have since bounced back with three consecutive league wins against Everton (1-3), West Brom (1-0), and Southampton (2-3).
The Hammers have had some fantastic results so far. They took a point off Man City at home (1-1 ) and had easily dispatched the likes of Wolves (4-0) and Leicester (0-3). They also drew against the Spurs after an astonishing comeback (3-3). Victories against lesser opposition, such as Sheffield Utd on November 22, or Villa last Saturday are just as important if they want to finish in the top ten, but they have shown they know how to raise the game against top clubs. It would not be a surprise if they get a win against the Red Devils.
As for their latest feat, a win against an in-form Villa, West Ham moved fifth in the Premier League, albeit being a bit fortunate in the end, after Villa had Watkins’ stoppage-time equalizer disallowed by VAR for offside. David Moyes has quietly established the Hammers as an effective outfit this season as they have won three consecutive Premier League games for the first time since May 2019. They have a good record against Man Utd, so they should not be dismissed too easily.
Man Utd, on the other hand, are blowing hot and cold at the moment and Solskjaer cannot afford another bad run of results. They are doing alright in Europe, but their domestic form could be better. They have picked up sixteen points after nine matches and have won at home for the first time in the league against the Baggies (W1-D1-L3). That is something that has never previously happened in the Premier League era, but it is their away form that is keeping them close to the top with their game in hand.
What more proof do you need than their spectacular win against the Saints last weekend, where a substitute Cavani inspired a stunning Man Utd comeback as they overturned a two-goal deficit to secure a superb win at the St. Mary’s. It was not a flawless performance by any means, but being on the road certainly seems to suit them. Interestingly, Solskjaer’s men are the first side in Premier League history to win four consecutive away games despite trailing in each. They will hope for more of the same against the Hammers.

West Ham have won their last two Premier League home games against United, while the Red Devils have won just three of their last 11 against the Hammers in the competition (D5 L3).
West Ham enjoy playing against Man Utd, especially in London, while Man Utd have won each of their last eight Premier League away games, their longest winning away run in their league history.
Since West Ham are a real force to be reckoned with at home, and United want to keep climbing in the standings, we should expect a fair share of entertainment when these two sides meet on Saturday.
BettingKick’s prediction for West Ham vs Man Utd match is: Both teams to score.

Tucker grew up in London, more precisely in West London. But, unlike many locals, he doesn’t like big and famous teams from that part of the city. Instead, ever since he was a kid, Tucker was passionate for lower divisions. This passion was born when his uncle from Reading took him to the local derby with Aldershot Town when he was 6 and since that moment football was running through his veins. He became a huge fan of the Royals for life, and whenever he could, he goes to Madejski Stadium to enjoy the game. Apart from being a job, his sports knowledge also becomes more than useful when he is betting live on high stakes which is also his passion.
