WEST HAM VS WEST BROM MATCH ANALYSIS
West Ham earned their third successive 1-0 in all competitions against Burnley at the weekend and they're now unbeaten in five in all competitions. Victory over the Clarets ended a three-match home winless run and they'll be seeking to build on that success and to catch up with the top-six. As for West Brom, they just picked up a thrilling 3-2 win against Wolves at the Molineux, which was just Baggies’ second win of the 2020/21 PL campaign, but their first win under boss Sam Allardyce. Now unbeaten in three on the road, the Baggies will be keen to pick up more points to escape the drop zone as soon as possible.
David Moyes has fashioned a very decent West Ham side that is disciplined while often creative and attack-minded. They have been rewarded for their enterprising play with some impressive results, notably big wins against Wolves and Leicester and draws at Manchester City and Tottenham. The Hammers are very much part of the teams that are within a touching distance of a European berth. Moyes will be also be delighted with their defensive displays as of late.
They have now kept four successive clean sheets (5 in 6) and haven’t conceded in the new calendar year yet. Michail Antonio returned to fill the void left by Sebastien Haller's departure to Ajax and he made the difference with a brilliant performance. Saturday's narrow win comes after Moyes's men had beaten Stockport County in the Round 3 of the FA Cup and Everton in the league by the same scoreline. The Hammers are level with Chelsea in 7th and Southampton in 8th, and another three points here will be huge for them.
The Baggies, on the other hand, hit the new low on Sunday when they crashed out of the FA Cup at their first hurdle after they were on the receiving end of a classic competition shock at the hands of League One Blackpool. Albion had conceded nine goals in their past two Premier League games and were without a win in eight in all competitions (D3, L5), but they were able to pick themselves up at Wolverhampton, courtesy of a brace from Matheus Pereira.
The Baggies manager earned his first victory in the dugout at the sixth attempt on Saturday - claiming the Black Country bragging rights. After picking up the lead from the spot in the eighth minute of the game against Wolves, West Bromwich then went behind in the final ten minutes of the first half. The comeback win will definitely lift the spirits inside the Baggies' dressing room.

After losing their first Premier League home meeting with West Brom in September 2002, West Ham are unbeaten in their last nine against the Baggies (W3 D6). West Brom lost their last PL meeting with West Ham, 1-2 in 2018. However, the last time these two sides met was in January last year in the FA Cup and West Brom won the game 1-0.
West Ham are on a great run, but Moyes will know there is plenty of work still to be done for this in-form West Ham side. West Brom’s win, on the other hand, might be considered somewhat of a fluke, as we are still not fully convinced in their ability to continue climbing up the standings.
So, the BettingKick’s West Ham vs West Brom prediction is: West Ham win

Tucker grew up in London, more precisely in West London. But, unlike many locals, he doesn’t like big and famous teams from that part of the city. Instead, ever since he was a kid, Tucker was passionate for lower divisions. This passion was born when his uncle from Reading took him to the local derby with Aldershot Town when he was 6 and since that moment football was running through his veins. He became a huge fan of the Royals for life, and whenever he could, he goes to Madejski Stadium to enjoy the game. Apart from being a job, his sports knowledge also becomes more than useful when he is betting live on high stakes which is also his passion.
