For those who think that they’ve
experienced the kind of setup that online sportsbooks always utilise, just pay
a visit to the Bet at Home platform. Doing so will provide you with an insight
into an alternative layout, but one that is just as easy to use, if not easier.
It does have its sports running down the left-hand side of its layout, while
the bet slip is displayed on the right-hand side. However, everything is
designed in a nicely compact way, and it utilises clear white and blue colours
throughout. Registration only takes a couple of minutes, ensuring that you’re
able to deposit and start betting as soon as possible.
You’re able to place sports bets from a
mobile device with the Bet at Home brand as well. To do this, you just need to
navigate to the website from your handset’s web browser. From there, you can
log in via the optimised website design, which follows the same sort of
structure as the desktop version of the sportsbook. As well as being able to
place your bets from the mobile site, you can deposit and withdraw, contact the
support team and more. The whole layout of the Bet at Home sportsbook remains
easy-to-navigate, even in its mobile setting.
One thing that is missing from the platform
is the possibility of downloading a mobile app. Neither Android nor iOS devices
are catered to in this respect, so you will always have to navigate to the site
from your smartphone or tablet’s web browser.
You’ve still got the potential to engage in
live betting at the platform, which is done by using the Live Betting button. This
allows you to see various sports that are in-play at the moment and that you
can wager on, including options from football, tennis, volleyball, baseball and
various eSports. This provides an entertaining setup, as placing bets while the
action is taking place makes it all the more thrilling.
While live streaming of matches is not
something that Bet at Home offers, you can still take advantage of the Cash Out
function that is available there. This allows you to cash out a single or combi
bet early, with the option being visible on your bet slip below the open bets
section. Bet at Home offers up a certain amount based on the current odds,
which can be higher or lower than your in-play stake. So, you will either take your
winnings early of minimise potential losses.
While it’s true that the odds offered by
Bet at Home are fairly average with what the biggest part of the sports betting
industry offer, these can sometimes fall below that average. This is especially
true where tennis and football are both concerned, with the bookmaker taking
7.3% and 6.6% margins, respectively. On the whole, the brand has a margin of
6.5% across the board, which when compared to some sites with 4% and 3%, isn’t
all that great.
Bet at Home does have quite a variety of
sports for you to wager on, although it’s clear to see that it doesn’t provide
such options for horse racing or greyhound racing. Yet, it remains operative
with options like rugby, football, tennis, handball, cycling and a whole host
of others. Its diversity spreads to betting options like politics within different
countries, including the USA, Germany and Austria for example. Meanwhile,
multiple eSports options are available, like NBA 2K, Call of Duty, StarCraft II
and eSoccer.
The Bet at Home site has a variety of
payment methods that you can choose from when it comes to depositing. These
will differ depending upon the country you’re accessing the site from, although
some of the standards options will run across all of these locations.
To make a deposit, you can make use of Visa,
Diners Club or Mastercard credit or debit card transactions, Skrill and
Neteller e-wallets, prepaid cards from Paysafecard, bank transfer including
Trustly, and options such as EPS, Giropay and Sofort. All of these methods are
free of charge to use.
As far as withdrawing money from your Bet
at Home account goes, you’ll need to ensure that you have verified your account
before you request such. Then, you can use a bank transfer or Trustly if you
don’t want to be restricted by withdrawal limits – keep in mind that you get
three of these free per month, and then they’re charged at up to €5 for all
others. Otherwise, a Skrill withdrawal allows for two free withdrawals each
month, but likewise up to €5 is charged on others and you can take out up to
€6,000 this way. Neteller affords you up to €10,000, while cards and
Paysafecard offer up to €5,000.
It’s always great to find an online
sportsbook with compelling promotions to take advantage of, although Bet at
Home just has a single reward for you to claim. This is available when you become
a new player there.
Welcome Bonus up to €50
After you register for an account, you need
to proceed with your first deposit. After this has been completed, Bet at Home
will provide you with a 100% bonus on top. There is a maximum value of €50 that
can be gained from this promotion, and the great thing about this reward is
that it only has wagering requirements of 4x to complete.
Clicking on the Help button at the sportsbook
will provide you with access to the FAQ section of the site. This is filled
with plenty of information to read through, but if you can’t find the answers
that you need, you can speak with the customer support team at Bet at Home. There
is a live chat function to do this, as well as various telephone numbers to
call. Alternatively, you have the possibility of sending an email to the team
instead.

Bet at Home was originally founded in
Austria in 1999, and ever since that time, it has held a gambling licence from the
jurisdiction of Malta. It holds on to a second licence from the UK Gambling
Commission as well, and these licences together ensure that the sportsbook is
fully fair and safe. The platform also has the seal of approval from the International
Betting Integrity Association, whilst participating in the promotion of
responsible gambling.

It’s true to say that I like some of the
features of the Bet at Home platform, such as its compact layout and the fact
that it’s very simple to use. This goes a long way for me, as there’s nothing
worse than visiting an online sportsbook and being confused by its interface
from the get-go.
I’m also happy that there is a mobile
version of the site available too – although it would be very nice if there was
an app to download as well. I’m not altogether a fan of having to navigate to
the platform every time I want to visit it from my smartphone. So, apps for iOS
and Android devices would be a wonderful addition, I think.
The bonuses and promotions from the
sportsbook are questionable, considering that it really only provides details
of a single reward. Newcomers obtaining a 100% bonus on deposit is great, but I’d
like to know what the loyal bettors get. Fair enough, the site may send
promotional emails from time to time, but this isn’t enough for me.
Overall, I’d like to say that I recommend Bet at Home to anyone, but there are many platforms out there that have wider ranges of sports to bet on, provide exciting special offers and allow you to download a free mobile app, too. If Bet at Home fixed these areas, I’m sure it would be a lot better.
NOTE: Your opinion is extremely important to us. To all of
us, both to us who are trying to check all the information we discover about a
bookmaker, and to other players who will read your experience. And if you have
any experiences, whether positive or negative, it would be useful to spare some
time and leave us your review. It can be of great importance to someone. Get
involved, because together we come up with the best solutions.
