Interwetten has been available to access online since 1997, although it has been operational as a company since 1990. As the name would suggest, it has a strong presence in German-speaking countries. The sportsbook remains simple to navigate around, with a vivid yellow colour shining through everything else. You’ll find various different sports on display down the left-hand side of the screen, while the hot bets of the moment can be seen on the right. You’ll be able to navigate across to the casino, virtuals, eSports and more with the navigational menu at the top of the screen.
Mobile betting is also available through the Interwetten sportsbook, and this is accessible through your device’s web browser or via a downloadable app. If you go for the former, you’ll get to see a compacted version of the site on your screen when you load it up. You can use the same username and password as those that you sign up with. This grants you access to all of the same sporting events for betting on as on the desktop.
The alternative is to download the mobile app, which is available for both the Android and iOS operating systems. It’s findable within the relative mobile app stores, or you can scan the QR code that is found on the website. With more than 500 live bets being available every hour as well as a selection of casino games, this gives you simple and swift access to the various sports betting options, promotions and more through your device.
Should you want to engage in something a little more exciting, there’s the live betting section of the sportsbook to access. This includes all of the in-play sporting events at the moment, such as those related to football, tennis, ice hockey, volleyball and eSports, amongst others. You’ll be able to see the upcoming events that will be accessible in live betting circumstances as well. When placing bets in the live betting section of Interwetten, you can also use both the Cash Out and Partial Cash Out options. These allow you to finish a bet before the event itself comes to a close.
Live streaming is also supported at Interwetten sportsbook, allowing you to view the different events available within. This incorporates the capability of watching events from the Bundesliga, Serie A, La Liga and even NBA matches. So, this way, you can bet on events and then watch as they play out. This also gives you more possibilities for live betting, as you can see what bets would be good to place, based on how things occur.
While Interwetten does have a great number of events for you to bet on per month, the overall odds are slightly less impressive than can be found elsewhere. There’s an overall pay-out of around 92-93%, although this climbs to around 95% on the top events. Football fans will find that the bookmaker’s odds are quite respectable, though. Basketball and tennis events also incorporate similar odds, so they remain popular with bettors. Therefore, it remains as quite a competitive online sportsbook where its odds are concerned.
Down the left-hand side of the sportsbook platform, you’ll see a strong selection of different sports, including popular options like table tennis, football, basketball and so on. Then come some other sporting options, including a few unique events. They include the possibility of betting on the US Presidential Elections 2020 and there’s a great range of eSports, too. It’s options like StarCraft II, League of Legends and Rainbow Six that exist within this section.
There are various payment methods available for you to utilise at Interwetten, and these are usable for deposits and withdrawals. It’s important to note that some of these are only available to players from certain countries. Prior to being able to make a withdrawal from your account, you’ll also need to be fully verified.
With regard to deposits, Interwetten accepts transactions done through various different credit and debit cards. These include Visa, Mastercard and Diners Club. You’ve also got the options of depositing through PayPal, Klarna, EPS or MuchBetter. Popular e-wallets from Skrill, ecoPayz and Neteller can be used, as can deposits through Paysafecard. Other than these options, you can deposit through bank transfers and Interwetten betting vouchers.
To be able to withdraw, you need to request at least €30 from your account. Several of the same pay-out options can be used for withdrawing, although there are certain important details to know about bank transfers. For all transfers to Switzerland from €300 all banking charges are paid for by Interwetten. Anything less than this will see the platform’s bank charges paid, but you will need to pay for any charges from your bank. There is a fee of €5 charged for any more than one bank transfer requested per month.
Signing up for an account at Interwetten will also allow you to claim some special offers, although there’s nothing exceptionally standout in this area. The largest portion of the promotional offers are given to casino players, rather than sports bettors.
Welcomed with €100
At the Interwetten sportsbook, you will receive a welcome offer of 100% up to €100 once you make your initial deposit there. Basically, you unlock this reward in five steps under the best conditions. Should you reach one of the five steps, the unlocked bonus amount can be withdrawn instantly, and this bonus amount can be made valid through several deposits of up to €100.
2:0 Insurance
Place a single bet on the victory of any team in the German Bundesliga and should they ever lead by two goals or more, you will receive a pay-out for it, regardless of how the match ends.
0:0 Insurance
Place any singles bet of up to €25 and in the case of a goalless match, you’ll receive your entire wager back with the 0:0 Insurance promotion.
No Risk Mobile Bet
If you opt to start sports betting through your mobile device, then you have the opportunity to start out with a risk free bet up to €25. Simply place a single or combination bet via your handset with odds of at least 1.70 and if you don’t win, simply email the support team to inform them. This will credit your stake back to you.
It's rather unfortunate but Interwetten doesn’t have a loyalty program for its VIP players.
If you find yourself needing assistance when betting at Interwetten, then you can obtain such through various means. The first of these is through the Help/FAQ section, which features the answers to various frequent queries. On the other hand, you can reach out to the customer support team. While advisors can be spoken to through the telephone or email, there is no live chat function available for you to utilise. This is a bit of a downfall for Interwetten, as usually a live chat function offers swift contact.

The Interwetten site is regulated by the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA), and it is this which dictates that the sportsbook is licensed and adhering to gambling legislation. Other than this, the site promotes responsible gambling, and it uses high-quality data encryption technology. This ensures that your details are kept safe and that transactions occur in a secure environment.
DK
While I liked the general setup and ease of navigation in place at Interwetten, there are several features of it that just don’t work well enough for my liking. Everything is very easy to get to and bets can easily be placed, and there’s even a large number of sports available for you to wager on. So, there are still some great perks about Interwetten, too.
Mobile betting will always be high up on my list of things to appreciate about sportsbooks, and Interwetten does provide this. It’s even available in both downloadable app and mobile web browser versions. Plus, don’t forget about the first risk free bet via mobile that the platform promotes.
Speaking of promotions, I was happy to find the 100% up to €100 for newcomers, although this is a little difficult to understand with regard to unlocking the different levels of it. Ongoing promotions are a little thin on the ground and are really just insurance opportunities more so than anything else.
Overall, if Interwetten didn’t have a minimum withdrawal limit of €30 and included a live chat function for players to use, the status of it would rank higher with me. There’s nothing hugely wrong with the sportsbook, but it just tends to fall behind in one or two key areas for me personally.
